I wish you would also give EST (Montreal studio) time instead of only PST... I would not need convert each time.

Use this!

The test build loads up fine for me and I noticed some things like the nice music files from the previous one were taken away for this build.

There's been enough people asking for it on the forums so I'm glad they made this lil' trinket.

They may want to look at adding some code to adjust size depending on screensize. This is how it looks on a 1024x768 notebook.
I have a 1024/768 think pad and am not experiencing those problems. That being said, the implementation of this clock was hilarious. For the first 2 or 3 days the year was set to 3048 and the QQwarriors immediately jumped on and said that PGI are liars and clans are coming in 2015.
At this point PGI should just leak little blurbs of false information to make their heads explode and then we wont have to deal with them anymore.

What does PGI recommend us users to do specificaly to test the performance between the current Live Dx9 client and the Dx11 test client ?
Obviosly stability testing will just requir peopel to be there and play. But specific performance ??
have tested MMO's befor and its allways a PITA to get measurable performance tests done when things change every second from test to test.

Grab a trial Spider and do rapid torso twisting in urban areas, lit areas on Terra Therma ... idk places where the game would need to render a lot of effects, textures and shapes very quickly. I imagine that's what would destabilize what can be destabilized that we're looking for.

Really just want lots of people playing multiple games and looking primarily for any crashes or show stopping issues. All things being equal you should feel like your playing just like normal only using DX11.
There are a couple of enhancements the water should look better and if you're able to select TXAA in the options you'll get much better anti-aliasing. Be sure to switch everything to very high if you want to see it at it's best everything will be on default settings when you first login.

Nope. Dx 10 was simply a misstep that never took off, so unless you're playing Crysis 1 or some other game from the short "Win Vista" era, you won't see any difference over an older Dx 9 card.
And DxDiag reports you running Dx 11, because you've got it installed (it comes with graphics drivers or Windows by default, not sure which one...) along with the Dx 10 (if you've ever played any Dx 10 enhanced game like the aforementioned Crysis 1) and Dx 9c (which comes with almost each and every game today, except a select few Dx 11-only things like Battlefield 3... and even that game is completely Dx 9 compatible) when installing a game.
DxDiag simply shows the newest version, but for it to "activate" in a game, 3 prerequisites have to be met: the card must support it (which yours does not), you must have it installed and the program itself (like MW:O after this patch) must support it.
So no. DxDiag isn't trying to fool you.

It's more of a general sense as you correctly point out without a constrained time demo or somesuch too much changes moment to moment to do exact comparisons. If you use F9 in game to see the FPS you can help by just playing games in DX9 and 11 and seeing if there are any regressions/improvements from current production and reporting your findings in the poll.
The other useful thing is to obviously look for any visual artifacts that aren't present in the current DX9 renderer (hopefully you can't find any) but if you do then please report them with a screenshot ideally in the feedback thread.

No idea when you'll invest some time in 3D? It's night and day when you compare both, what I mean is that this game is made to be played in 3D, you shoot other Mechs far away and having depth is so great, flying lasers and missiles, etc. I think it's way much more a feast for the eyes than enabling DX11. (ok 3D haters, I'm sorry for you). I fully enjoy playing it in 3D but I wish you would take a look to enable Damage Glow because it's not working when 3D is enabled.
Anyway... tonight I plan on testing DX11 in both 2D and 3D but I will only report if anyting is wrong in 2D.

Edit: I am playing during the correct time period as well.

Because only a very small minority have 3D monitors and almost everyone has a dx11 card?

Boo, want dx11 live right now! Shiny particles @_@
Had no issues and if anyone uses windows 8 and has problem then we all know what the problem really is: Windows 8!
But to be hones, 5 matches are by far not enough to determine if its working good.
Btw: morning? not where I live :3

I'm a 3d fan and I hope they invest at least a little time in getting it working.
I know we're in a minority, but if you don't ask you don't get. Plus, the engine supports 3d and Nvidia advertised this as a 3d vision title, not that any of that is necessarily PGI's problem!
Did anyone notice if SLI or Crossfire works in DX11?
