Apparently the resolution options are broken for full window mode if you switch to fullscreen they should work ok.

Afraid I can't change it no matter what mode I'm in. Didn't do much testing as a result.

You could try deleting the USER folder for public test see if that helps

Got the same issue. Ran several matches and then got this in the middle of a match. The only thing I changed before getting this error was adding in Motion Blur from OFF to LOW.

Tried this and it didn't work, I can't change the resolution. Someone mentioned you can manually edit the file, where is it located?

I7-940
GTX670
Win8

(Please give us the option to turn off film grain.)

Its working fine for me, i can select every resoultion and TXAA.

Its quite stable, there is a small bug (glitch) after the game loaded, and sometimes if you exit the game (not quit the match, but exit the game while ingame) the game froze and u have to close it in windows.

However i hardly see any difference from DirectX9:(

And the most important thing of all, you STILL CANT TURN OFF THAT STUPID FILM GRAIN AHHHHHHH!

Fix for the resolution issue.

- Switch to DX9, restart the client.
- Change resolution to your chosen one. It should be 1280 by default (low).
- Switch to DX11, restart the client.
- It should be fine now.

Bug: The lower part of the HUD shows parts of the minimap outside of the minimap rectangle. The map is visible in small HUD parts below the speed/jj/cool shot/heat bars.

To reproduce: Launch a match. The bug seems independent of resolution or rendering mode.

Solution: Changed "System Specifications" from medium to High.

I got exactly the same results, except I'm running a GeForce 660M with the latest drivers under Windows 8.1. Haven't yet checked to see if changing the settings to 'high' corrects the problem.

Edit: It now works if I change the settings to high instead of medium. Overall looks good, though I experience a slight drop in fps from what I normally get in DX9.

Pretty much suffered from the known issues: Win8.1 user so couldn't change resolution. Switching to DX9 gave a black screen, but calling up task manager would remove the black screen.

As for none known issues.

It seemed pretty stable, no crashes, however FPS would drop when looking from the outside of the map to the centre of the map. Anywhere from 10 to 20 FPS. Tested this on a few different maps happened each time.

GTX Titan running the game at 120+ FPS with drops around 60 to 70 FPS during battles.

This is by far thousand times better than DX9 running at 60 FPS and dropping down to the 20's.

Windows 8 Enterprise, I had no issues changing resolutions.

For those who do have issues, just copy the profile from your production MWO user folder into your Public test user folder and everything should work fine.

Also SweetFX looks even MORE AMAZING!

Settings:

Everything maxed

DX9 build runs great, hardly ever crashes and Frame rates are around 45 in firefights, 65 normal.

DX11 test build runs okay, no crashes, however my framerates dipped below 30 once or twice in heavy fighting on Frozen City, being around 40 otherwise. On Crimson Straits I was below 30 at the start of the match, which continued to low 20s during the firefight.
