No reason we couldnt have 12v10 with proper tonnage limits and battlevalue.

That would imply that an Atlas is actually as good as a pair of Centurions.

With the current state of Centurions (with SRMs not working), the Atlas is better, sadly.

The problem with your example is that this game has a static number of players on each team. You cannot bring more players than the enemy, unless some of the enemy team disconnects or encounters some other glitch.

Let's look at a more appropriate example:

TEAM 1
Jenner = 35 tons
Cataphract = 70 tons
Total = 105 tons and 2 highly effective players

TEAM 2
Locust = 20 tons
Stalker/Battlemaster = 85 tons
Total = 105 tons and only 1 effective player

It's a 2 on 1 battle.

Except that leaves out skill. If the Locust pilot is excellent, and the rest are average, the fight isn't a forgone conclusion. Lights are not for the faint of heart, and require serious skill to play well. That's why I suck with them, but they are fun!!!

Unless the Locust's skill is at the peaks of mount tryhard, and the enemy light is from the steering wheel underhive, that Locust is gonna have a bad time.
