Buzz: I remember you were good but everyone caught up to you pretty fast...then you couldn't win normal games so you made "buzz's mod." where you also didn't win on your own rule set. Still yours is one of the names I remember so you must have done something right.

I think my old team mate Squall is lurking around these forums waiting for his moment to trash talk once again. Though I think we've both matured since we were kids on MSN zone all those years ago.

I remember a REALLY immature community. If you beat anyone ever then you were a hacker LOL. I remember if you got better at the game you were a hacker too. Squall_FFK his computer couldn't run MW3 at all. It was all lag. Then when he got a new computer he was playing with no video lag...people didn't buy that "story" and just assumed he got better over night so he MUST be a hacker

I still remember a LOT of these names and GOOD times too even if so many people would get mad so easy back then and accuse anything that moves of cheating. There was one guy though I don't remember his name but no one could beat him because he was on an Australian connection and you could never find his lag spot. I also remember a lot of the units/clans and people you guys listed.

BLOODRED, 4 horsemen, ReIIiK, BBB, EMC, BOOGER, and so many others I can't even remember.

Grim_chiXnhawk_ , HBA_chiXnhawk_ , then finally KaoS_chiXnhawk_ . The merging of 2 teams who played over 100 games each and the best one had and 11% win % that turned into KaoS was striking gold.

Chixnhawk, one of the few names I instantly recognize as someone I did not enjoy seeing. Not out of malice, but a genuine dislike for getting my teeth kicked in.

Well, well! The list grows longer and longer. And scrolling through the pages who do I see but Morgana! And about a hundred other people who I have shot at. Funny how seeing the old zone name makes my brain automatically go " C5 pilot, Avy, 1.5 mechs out. C1 pilot, Strider, 2 mechs out. C0 pilot, Mad D, 1.25 mechs out."
Now if anyone sees Cappy anywhere on here, this old man may well have a heart attack.

Someone in a game I played later on was telling another guy why a bunch of us spoke of MW3 with such reverence. He said "You don't understand, Mech is like a cult with these guys" I replied " No son, it is the True Faith!" This was seconded by about 20 other guys in the Vent server. And seeing so many people from so long ago here, there can be no doubt.

Let us feel the Weeeeeeee brothers and sisters. Hear the sound of heat alarms. The thud of mech legs pounding the ground. Weapons cycling. Target being locked up. And the voice of joy " Target Destroyed!"
