Starsiege was fun, and the Cybrids were a lot more terrifying than the Clans were. Spider 'mechs the size of buildings...*shudders*

Starsiege also had a very atmospheric setting. I did think the HERC's felt like they were a bit too much on rollerskates though, and the Imperial HERC's were head and shoulders above the Resistance ones. Ahh, memories ;)

I'd buy Titanfall if not for Origin, I live in Taiwan but don't read Chinese and dealing with the regional site headaches is too much.

MWO didn't really make the list either, MW4 made the list and MWO got at best mentioned in passing.

If MWO actually made the list, they wouldn't have mentioned MW4. It was more like "if you want to play MechWarrior, heres MW4. but if you want to play multiplayer, well I guess you'll have to try MWO"

(You'll never convince me Hawken is number 1 though)

Notice that at the end of the review the author says, "The beauty of this genre is the fast paced action it has to offer...".

That's actually the opposite of why I personally like the genre but that's the nature of reviews. The author obviously likes faster paced mech games so its little wonder that he views Hawken as the best mech game ever.

EA games is slated to release Titanfall in March of 2014, it's more like Hawken(and Heavy Gear) a fist person shooter than MWO but it will likely take a lot of the casual gamers away from MWO and the graphics are head and shoulders above what we are currently seeing now. If PGI doesn't get things cranked up in the next 3 or 4 months I'm afraid that mediocre reviews won't save it and MWO really won't be much more than what we are seeing right now.

It looks nice... the only point i dont like about it is: its from EA.. and as such.. probably only half baked and a bugridden release. I like the game idea and combined Pilot/Mech action though and would like the franchise take roots.
