I would gladly go back and play chromehounds on the 360 if it weren't shut down due to poor managment and from glitchers that found a way to make the game impossible to play. Still that game was way more fun than this is anymore and it only had like one mode, but the sheere amount of managing you can do with your mech and the really fun weapon tweaking you can do was so refreshing from other mech games in general that I played it till it shut down.
I'm honestly looking forward to this being shut down and a team that isn't new to making quality games can take over and give us a mechwarrior game with a solid story and mp, I will gladly spend 60 bucks to have a mechwarrior title with a decent story again, to have the option of going up against bots if I want, to have all the clan mechs and new designs in the game.
The only reason I even wanted to play this was to see clan mechs on next gen hardware but this...this isn't that impressive if anything it's pretty ugly, I preferred the graphics in mechwarrior assault to this as the mechs actually moved realistically and even had moving parts and visible lights, it had a better shine but due to it's arcade game style it was not well liked, but I wont lie I played the hell out of it.
This game has fun moments but it's getting few and far between I just got done with a 2 week break from this and honestly I might just go on another. I honestly just want to play with the clan mechs anymore, there is not a single mech I'm interested in grinding out for anymore I've sold all but an atlas and the spider. thats all I even want anymore. A powerful assault mech that has gotten me many kills, and a light mech for the feel of speed but has gotten me impressive scores as well. I dont see a reason to own a heavy or a medium they are just too weak in this game and the size difference between them...I dont see any they both suck.
This game sucks.

This is what happens when you allow total customization.
Each time a new mech would roll out I would try and fit it up a way that I enjoy than would be quickly reminded in game that Oh yeah that doesn't work.
PPC, Gauss, AC's, boat missiles or go home.
If it had just been stock variants we'd see something other than alpha your face off online.
The game becomes SUPER BORING when it only has a few weapons worth using.

If you dont care why are you even being hostile with me then? The point of this thread is about the state and how people feel about it. I dont have to do what you want me to do. A lot of people are bored with the game and have been taking breaks thats doesn't mean that they permanately stop having anything to do with the game after all were posting on it. I've put hard earned money into this game though will never spend a cent again I have done at least a little to help fund the game even if it's progress is moot anymore.
I care about this franchise not about this dev in particular as far as I know they have never made any quality games they have made attempts but have never been successful as far as I know.
It's ******** like you that generate problems between the players when it's really the devs that should have all of our ire. If they would have made a better game the one promised we wouldn't be in this thread today.
I find it sad that you took the time to look up the other thread so this place must be shrinking pretty quick.

About 3 weeks ago crytek released CE3.5, it's on a completely different dev branch than 3.4, it's the base that was built crysis3, as such it didn't even come with a changelog, as pretty much every system was changed.
The good news is it is definitely the best version of CE ever.
crytek to moving to a PBR lighting model in a future update to this branch. which means more correct lighting on all materials. But would involve a substantial effort to shift materials to work correctly. It would look better in the long run though.
It has an LOD baker, which allows better looking, cheaper to render, and easier to produce LODs, so less apparent LOD popping, and no need to have holes you can see through in the far buildings on river city XD.
And so on.
The bad news is remember the difficulty that PGI had with 3.4 update?
