We end up winning but how the hell do you get so many Atlas Mechs on 1 team!? Well, I've never seen anywhere near 8 lol

Well lets not forget the other 3 Heavy's and ANOTHER Assault Mech they had as well lol wtf? the weight advantage alone must be shocking.

Great game though ;)

Wow, I don't think I've ever seen that much weight on one side, nice game. Talk about stacked.

We won a game the other day 10v12. We didn't even have any DisCo's, it just didn't give us 2 players. The slots were empty. In the end we only lost 3 players but, they only had 4 assaults, along with 5 heavies, 1 medium and 2 lights. I was ready to not even waste my time with the round but, I was to lazy to wait again for another game so I stuck it out. In the end everyone on the team minus one person had very solid damage numbers.

It doesn't hurt that some of the assault pilots on the other team were clearly failwarriors. Anyone can stack a team full of assault mechs, it's whether or not a team is coordinated, as well as what you do with that tonnage that really matters.

An all Atlas group is almost certainly doomed against a balanced team. We did a 12 v 12 where the opponents had 10 identical Champion Atlases, and 2 spotter lights. We had a mixed group, but organized into a light lance, missile lance (heavy/assault class),and a heavy/assault brawler lance. Alpine map, we got to the tower pass well before them (since they were so frakkin slow!) despite starting much farther from it. Our lights quickly eliminated their spotters, and they were dead bots walking. With no TAG or ability to fire indirectly at our heavies, and no maneuver capability, they could only stand and weep as our missiles targeted their gauss rifle torsos one by one till they blew up. Then came thebrawler lance in to show them no mercy, and it was game over with no casualties for us. They had us out-tonned nearly 2:1 but it made no difference.

True, although I wouldn't say our team was that coordinated, no one took command and the only comm's chat we had was "There's some in the tunnel" but we did work well together. We started in the South of the Frozen City map and I think some of the Atlas's tried to nip around the back through the tunnel and ended up getting stuck behind each other.
Me and a few others had already swept around left and headed over the crashed wreck where we picked a few off, that's when the tunnel report came in, by the time we got back to the Tunnel they'd pushed through and downed a few of ours but we had a good brawl with them, I even left targets who were weaponless to concentrate on the bigger threats.

It's also a bit harsh to label them failwarriors, 1 of the Atlas trail mech pilot's has been a member longer than you! I think what lost them the match was down to a bad tactical decision by splitting up and the slow movers going through the tunnel, this negated they're 2 pilot advantage and massive tonnage difference. If they had stuck together and met us head on I'm sure it would have a been a different outcome, trail pilots or not

Any game where you start 2 pilots down is painful. Losing 1 doesn't make that much of a difference I find but if anything losing 2 can easily cost you the game, but sounds like you worked well together there
