Also, I believe the pattern is to have 6 hardpoints per mech, but the other variants that PGI listed don't all have 6 weapons installed, so don't look at this list as accurate. They're probably going to have more hardpoints than this. Only the Griffin 1N and Wolverine 6R we actually know about.
Griffin:
GRF-1N = 3 energy in the RA, 3 missile in the RT, 7 jump jets
GRF-1S = 3 energy in the RA, 1 known missile, but now it is in the LT, 5 known jump jets
GRF-3M = 1 energy in the RA, 1 missile in the LT, and 1 energy in the LT, 5 known jump jets
Wolverine:
WVR-6R = 2 ballistic in the RA, 3 missile in the LT, and 1 energy in the head, 7 jump jets
WVR-6k = 3 energy in the RA, 1 missile in the LT, and 1 energy in the head, but no jump jets
WVR-7K = 2 energy in the RA, 1 missile in LT, 1 missile in the RT, and 1 energy in the head, 5 jump jets.
To me the Griffin 1N and 1S look almost the same, other than the fact the missile launcher moved to the other torso. The 1S has three lasers in the arm, so that won't change from the 1N, but who knows where the other 2 hardpoints will be, but I assume they're going to be missile hardpoints. Maybe both torsos, or all 3 in the left side?
The Griffin 3M looks a lot more interesting because it puts an energy in the left torso as well as the missile launcher. I hope it is mounted up high on the shoulder, but with the missile launcher on top I doubt it will be the case.
For the Wolverine I find it interesting that only the default 6R model has ballistics. The other two have energy weapons in the arm, and the 6K can't even jump. The 7K has twin missile launchers, one on either shoulder.
I think I will go with the Griffins myself, but well see.
