Why did you even make this thread? The game runs on the CryTek 3 engine. I remember when Crysis came out and the original engine nearly destroyed peoples computers. The fact that the dev's have managed to make it run on a dual core processor (barely) is remarkable, and considering that this will be one of the first games I've seen to take advantage of quad core architecture it is clear they're building the game for the future, not the past.
The questions you've asked above have quite clearly already been asked by the dev's themselves, and they feel the benefits of going with a current graphics engine outweigh any negative side effects. PGI has said repeatedly they want to take F2P to the next level, and not treat it as a 2nd tier game, but something that can stand up next to the $60 boxes put out every couple of months, both in terms of quality, and in terms of graphics. The CryTek 3 engine lets them do that, and I for one am glad that the dev's have chosen to render this game with some of the best architecture on the market currently, so several years from now, it'll still look GREAT.
Sorry if my response seemed harsh, but I honestly couldn't fathom the need for this poll, or the rationale behind your questions.

Slight nit pick: It uses the CryTek 3 engine, not the Crysis 3 engine.

In conclusion....Save a little money and upgrade.
To edit. I can run it at the recommended settings on one rig, and between the two on my second rig.

i bought my laptop over a year ago now, it has 2 dx 11 video cards (radeon hd 6900s) in crossfire, with 2 gigs of memory on each, a quad i7 @ 3.2 ghz stock, self overclocks itself to 3.6 ghz when it has call too. 12 gigs of ddr 3 ram @ 1333 mhz. ive installed a 120 gig ssd to kill load times, and have a terrabyte of bulk storage @ 7200 rpm. the min/rec of mwo is nothing, its a triffling pittance, itll run on a fancey calculator. if you have a computer for gaming on itll run this game.
