Yes B) and No...Still have Ballistic and PPC combos so why is one ballistic nerfed.

Nope this is the hope seeing MWO more oriented simulator with less brawl and more ranged stuff... More than generic action FPS.

JJ should add much more heat ^ ^

Yes. I used the ER for no min range. Major drawback on a med, 0 dmg < 90 and 10-11 tons wrapped up on using a ppc. Might only have 3 weapons mounted if one is a ppc.

I would say change nothing or at least don't do another mechanic.

We would solve this problem easily, but nah, people love to be p***y, avoiding close combats and brawling...

I trained long and hard as a Grunt to kill the enemy at 500M in real life. Spare me your idea of what is and isn't brave. I don't Pop tart, but I don't complain about using tactics that involve limiting damage.

A Spider on TT had to decide whether to jump 8 or Jump 6 and fire. Jumping and firing while in mid jump did not happen you jumped then fired once you landed.

Then you have no idea how to use them and should stop. Assaults are the king of Pop Tarts and Lights are less than a threat flying through the air with pea shooters. The Heat for jump jets should be increased As a Spider had 8 jets and 2 sinks left and could not continuously jump Snipe with out shut down.

There are many. Most light pilots are terrible but good ones can do quite a bit.

Assaults can still carry the hardest though.

Yep... I have no idea how to use lights. Mmhm.

Light mechs don't use their jump jets for poptarting. Since heat is additive to your heat capacity upping heat on JJs will prevent light mechs from using them and being able to fire, either during the jet fire or after.

You're saying a Spider shouldn't be able to use JJs and fire at the same time, but why? Is it a broken tactic? Or does it just not fit with your vision of the game? I'm hoping it's just the latter...

Hit detection on them is terrible no matter what mech you're shooting at. I mean... they *can* work. It's just really random when they do...

Balance in war? Novel concept!! Ppl complain about pop farts, items used for such get nerfed. Pop faters complain they cant pop fart, less retical shake and Im sure other things will come out to make pop farters happy. Bottom line? Ppl gripe and moan, pgi flip flops and caters to the masses of cry babies because that is where the (they hope) money is. Moral of the story, man up, develope and execute sound tactics and stop crying people. Adapt and overcome.

The why is due to the amount of heat that 8+ jets should be generating, and firing weapons while thrusting a 35 ton vehicle into the air would create so many Gees I doubt anyone could actually aim the cross hairs. Imaging trying to hit someone with a paintball gun while riding one of those sling shot rides at Cedar Point! Be a crack shot on that and I will agree that Pop Tarting is fine.

SRMs are extremly related to the actual meta. If they get fixed, and they return the damage to 2.5 per missile, ull see less poptarts, more skirmishers (mediums) and more brawling.

So yea, they are related. If PGI fix them, the meta will get insta balanced.
