Dual-hunch would have to be a must from a Hero HBK, even if it's a 4SP variant with the smaller hunches. Maybe something like RA/LA/H - 1E, RT - 1B, LT - 1M to spread the tonnage.

Obviously the hero mech should be radically different from the variety of Hunchbacks that have been released.

It must be a game breaker.

The HBK-VsNu


Replace the humps of a 4SP with two more 4SP arms.

2 energy hardpoints in each arm, 2 energy hardpoints in each 'Shoulder'-arm and another energy hardpoint in the head.

Case closed, no?

This topic came up before I think.

I would like:
Small laser in head
PPC in each side torso
2 MG in each arm

Comes with DHS because PPC.

Hardpoints
Head= 1 energy
CT= 1 missiles
LT= 1 energy, AMS
RT= 1 energy, ECM
L arm= 3 ballistic
R arm= 3 ballistic

I could see skipping the missile point, but I like to see variety and as it would be a scratch made mech, PGI can do whatever. I like allowing some pew pew, but without allowing boating because then it steps on besically all the other ones toes. I like lots of ballistic, but also in the arms because it makes trying to stuff other big stuff like twin gauss or something goofy sub optimal because of the lower fireing angle, which again lets the regular hunchies shine in that area. I like having 4 MG in arms as something drastically different then the other hunchies, and missile hands seems silly on this mech. I ould add the extra ballistic point so people can re arrange if they want to drop PPC for ac2 or add another MG or whatever. ECM because we could use another medium ECM mech.

i think this would be really different then other hunchies, without stepping on their toes.

I'd like to see two Energy Hardpoints in the CT, as well as one in the head. Make it a better zombie than the CN9-A.

Or Missile Hardpoints.

I like the 4N with AC5 and LRM5, but for a hero...
It might sound a bit close to the Dervish, but thats what I'd think of a Hero Hunch:

LA - 1E, 1M (MLaser, SRM4)
RA - 1E, 1M (MLaser, SRM4)
LT - 1M (SRM6)
RT - 1B (LBX10)
HD - 1E (SLaser)

Loadout:
1x SRM4 and 1x MLaser in each arm, 1x SRM6 in the LT and 1x LBX10 in the RT with a SL in the head.
XL250 engine, Endo, 10DHS, near max armor, 2tons LBX ammo, 2tons SRM ammo
One Hunch for the LBX10 and one hunch for the SRM6, so a mix of the 4G/4H and the 4SP.

Two ballistics each side torso and one energy per arm and one energy on the head (or swap it out for another ballistic).
