Ready Screen Common Features - Feedback

Can we expect more and deeper stats and analysis in the future and if that comes (or even way before) could we get rid of the post match screen timer altogether and just have a button? If this would take up server space or whatever then could there be a post match screen out of client?
It would be great to have tools where we could see and analyse more and not have to stop team discussion because you are interested in your match numbers.
Thanks and keep up the great work

If the former: hmmmm, interesting.
If the latter: Great, more musings on vaporware. Jog on, pal.

1. Please display damage cause with Artillery/Airstrike separate from other damage in the final scoreboard.
2. Please allow players got back and review the final scoreboard of the most recent 3 to 5 games they participated in. I hate not being able to do that.
3. Please, somewhere in the UI or drop ship, allow players to automatically rebuy consumables. Stop making me waste time on this.
On the whole, the damage caused display needs improvement. Not a top priority, though. Scoreboard review would be swell, though - this information could be stored local to the client, in JSON/SQLite/whatever to minimize server impact. Auto-rebuy of consumables should definitely be a thing. I'd check that box, and click the confirm dialog, and the reminders whenever the game client started up (although I would prefer a thing at the bottom of the client with a checkbox because delays to get to teh game are for craps).

If someone is un-readying in PUG matches to be an arse, people can report them, and PGI can say "Hey, look at this ******* right here."
Oh, forgot a request:
3. IN-GAME REPORT PLAYER BUTTON.
This absolutely for serious. Say what you want in your TS channel, I'll just mute you. I can't mute chatters who just spout racist/sexist garbage and it's getting old.

However, it's unimportant I guess.
I disagree; even though I think Riot does a poor job when it comes to character design (w/regards to sexist portrayals etc), the community features and general tone of the "social" interactions keeps me playing when my weekly group wants to LoL.

I'm primarily a pickup gamer but I like statistics - they might help me to see where I'm playing most poorly and encourage me to improve.
Please keep improving the game and minimize regressions, so far it's been the best BattleTech game since TT.

At least that's what I'm reading out of the text. I agree it could be made clearer here as well, for people who have not read previous announcements.

It's unimportant... to PGI, since it has yet to be added.

You are correct, I misunderstood, I thought you were saying that you were interested in that feature but thought it was comparatively unimportant.
Cheers!

It sucks that I have to say it, but from their current track record, I'm honestly surprised we're getting a second slot free of charge.
One thing that the devs or their marketing team doesn't seem to understand is how they're driving players away by nickle-and-diming us to such a degree. Look at Star Trek Online vs League of Legends. LoL racks in the cash because their prices are reasonable for everything, and they have a sale once a week on three champions and three skins. A single champion and skin typically costs 10 bucks, with the more prestigious skins costing more. Compare that to STO, where a single ship could cost nearly 30 bucks. I wonder why people don't by more ships...
Same with mechs. I'm not going to spend 30 bucks for a single mech. Especially if it isn't going to give me the 'bonus' of a hero mech. They need to seriously rethink their marketing strategy if they're going to force us to pay for these slots, as well as mech bay slots, in addition to mechs and skins. It's all a huge barrier of entry, and discouraging for new players like myself who are willing to spend money on the game, when they feel they're getting good value out of it.

So I get two lives per drop? Am I reading this right? I hope I am reading it wrong.
We should only get one life to give per drop.
Nope I think means we get two 'lives' per drop. And I think that is a good thing, its the only way objective based game modes will work with out them dissolving into team deathmatch. With out some form of limited respawn there would be no point to trying to win a match any other way other then wiping out the other team.
And finally a limited form of respawn was something that was planed since before closed beta, its nice to see that we're starting to get someo f the stuff we were promised.

I believe this was (fortunately) confirmed already!
As I understand it the 'mutator' mode was to be a modifier to all game modes, not a separate game mode.

Like "the team will be facing 3 lances of House Marik fighting for recources on the planet ....." Also a picture of the planet rather than the map, again to add some setting to the match.
No offense but at little effort to create some atmosphere to the game would be appreciated by many.
Read another post using the words generic and the current ready screen certainly is that.

Main concerns are it slows down play in theory we can play approximately 3.5 matches an hour if all matches (rarely) run full time.
In practice is between six and four, dropping if you faff about in mech bay, unless organisation has a timer on it, this could end up cutting matches by a third.
This coupled with your proposed method of the 'teams' arguing over weight and what mechs they can play with and voting on maps, is frankly going to bring this game down to a crawl.
In world of war planes if I own and want to play a spitfire I click a button and I play a spitfire.
In world of tanks if I own and want to launch in a tiger tank, I click a button and launch in a tiger tank.
in War thunder if I own and want to pilot a mustang, I click a button and I pilot a mustang.
Your proposing that and I'm using me as the example, but it could be Tommy Atkins, John Doe, or Ivan the Terrible, to launch in a game and not be able to play a Hero, Pheonix, or even a founders mech, that I bought and supported your game, because four other people also want to play an Atlas, then perhaps on a map I dislike, in a battle mode I loath, because five other people wanted to play on it.
Then only get to play half the number of matches in an hour, than I could in all three games I mentioned, that might all be Stomps.
I do hope PGI that there are enough people playing, that you can afford to take a hit of 50% of your population, because I think this is what will happen as people were allready TKing and abusing people for not clicking a ready button not that long ago.
Think about it as if your just a customer would you put up with this..
Think of it as a train journey
The first you book a sear in the train you might not know all the people, but you get a seat, and you get where your going.
Or the second train where you book a seat, then when you get there your told you can't have that seat, but you can have the seat next to the toilet, and the journey is going to take twice as long as the other train.
Which train would you go on.
ups this was kinda dead, I got here through a link, but hey hoe

Agreed. Turning the community against each other is not what you guys need right now.
