9 assaults vs 3 assaults?
How is this even remotely balanced?

I could share several other screenshots of matches where one team (sometimes the one I am on as well of course) severely outnumbers the other team on amount of assaults or just straight up tonnage.
This needs to be fixed, and it needs to be addressed fast. I know many players who are simply giving up and taking a break from the game after being repeatedly dumped into completely uneven matches.
I don't give a F**K if it takes 4 minutes longer to get a match started as long as the match is even on tonnage. Being forced to play a match where you are severely gimped on tonnage or heavy / assault mechs is no fun whatsoever.
This seriously needs to end. I don't care about ELO scores and how they affect the game. First criteria for an even match is a comparable tonnage between each team. After that you take player skill into account.
So sick of these moronic match-ups. Getting matches faster does not weigh up for being dropped into matches where you are almost guaranteed to lose (or win, all depending on how lucky you are).
Fix this or keep watching people taking extended breaks from the game.
We've been waiting patiently on UI 2.0 and Clan Warfare, and so far all we have gotten is a broken matchmaker.
