Oh no! He's started singing "Geek and Gig sittin' in a tree..."! All my rebuttals have now been skillfully and concisely shot full of holes! Whatever shall I do?? If I can't beat 'em, I guess I'll just join 'em...

I know you are, but what am I?

See, it's not all negative. We can still have fun here.

'Mom, geeks touching me!'

They didn't make DNF. They only worked on one component of it.

all in all if the babies kept crying. someone at PGI could just turn off the game server and say "We apologise for the inconvenience"

Rather when the money doesnt come in. I dont think any publisher shuts the servers down if there is still money to make. So keep paying and people can still voice their concerns.

No, it doesn't. Choosing to stay in a situation that infuriates you doesn't excuse poor behavior.

Put your e-peen away. It means nothing anywhere but in your own head.

You have made the mistake in asserting that there is a choice, when there is none. This is the only modern BattleTech shooter/sim on the PC, there IS NO OTHER CHOICE. ...and if you come back and say "you can choose not to play, blah blah, always a choice, blah blah, determinism, blah blah" that, sir, is a cop-out.

Now please, stop staring. I'm easily embarrassed. Oh, and BTW... I'm not the one with the goofy ribbons in their sig... so yeah, there's that...

An iPhone costs you 500$, so yes, I would expect instant action for a physical piece of hardware that I paid half a G for. If, that is, I joined you guys in your rock habits

In a free to play game that is being constantly developed, there is no finished product per se,

So basically I just enjoy playing the game

Got news for you. Some of us have sunk more than $500 into this game based on those promises that you choose to ignore. This is why people are angry and upset. For them to rehash a post about what they plan to do, which is the same as what they plan to do every three months or so, and try to disguise it as a new creative update kinda put people off. Granted there is an explanation, but that was a wee bit late.

i´m wondering how the devs goona put that fire out that they´re laid...new Infos about the game are ok but as many said before me, those game breaking features had to be delivered months ago but i´m still hoping this game will be good after all the planning Releases :-)

Lame. Nothing to say on a Tuesday, so you link a vague post you made a full week ago. Lame.

If this was a history of earth, the last few months (since 'launch' would be the dark ages.). Hopefully we'll come out of it...

On another note: the last few weeks I often find that I drop against the same people a lot of times in a 2-3 hour period. That tells me that it's not just me that's playing the game less and less.

Im not quite sure what this link to the MWO Metacritic score (66) is supposed to prove, but in all honesty, as bad of press as MWO has been getting, Im actually kinda shocked it has a 66, in its incomplete state, and makes me feel like there is hope. If I were to depend on all of the feedback here in the forums as to the state and quality of the game, I would have though the game would have went belly under 6-10 months ago. But its still here somehow despite all of the noise other wise.

A 66 based on a repetitive game without much variation. Hell, IF and WHEN CW comes into play, this is actually going to be a game with depth.

(Crosses fingers for CW before end of spring 2014)

EDIT: Changed verbiage

Because 12/17 is patch day, not yesterday.

Sadly, these are just another bunch of parrots who only speak what they hear. I doubt they have a clue on the precise role PGI played in developing that (reportedly terrible -- never played it myself) game.

Well, it's either that or there is a deliberate attempt to "mislead" (to put it ever so mildly).
