Yes, I agree that in thge past PGI has been bad about that. I think the fact that we're seeing more and more "this is op" "nerf this" "fix that" all because "it's unfair and I can't beat it" shows that the balancing is shifting to a harsher side though. I hoenstly believe that over the past couple of months PGI has begun shifting things back to the other end of the spectrum and stopped giving away "easy" buttons

Lets just hope the promised comms rose comes soon. Assuming that the game engine allows it and they don't have to write code from scratch as they seem to have had to for much of the game.

Pug Life
Yeah I've seen that version of the conversation, here's another:

Me: I see 10 'mechs in D3, they're going to push, get over here ASAP.
[30 seconds later, I see no one has moved from their positions, or worse are moving AWAY from the enemy push]
[I start hitting as many of the enemy as possible, trying to look like it's more than just one or two mechs,
Me: Get to D3 now, or they'll push here then roll up your flank!
[30 seconds later, enemy has figured it out they've begun their push, I check the map and I see 8 or 10 of my teammates chasing a single light.]
[30 to 45 seconds later I'm dead, MAYBE I've taken one or two out (more probably NOT), and the enemy does exactly as I predicted, rolling up my team's flank]
Me [dead]: Great! Thanks for no support, congratulations on your loss!
******* Pug #1: WTF noob, wht u doin ovr thr
******* Pug #2: Like we'd listen to a dead guy
Me [dead]: Being dead doesn't make me wrong.
******* Pug #1 [dead]: WTF why ddnt you sty with us?
******* Pug #2 [dead]: they have to aimbotting I got killed by a headshot!
etc.
etc.
etc.

Oh, I forget the part where the argument continues and escalates, and the kicker is, even though I'm the "noob" that's first to die, I see that on the End of Match screen I've gotten highest score on my team...

haha yeah I love when they call someone a noob, and at the end of the match the noob is still alive, got several kills, has 500+ damage, and killed the last enemy while defending base. But noob.
