I'm more suprised that they even have enough art ready for the package more than anything else. 30 per tier is fair enough when you take into account the TT Cbill prices on Clan mechs because of the DHS/XL engine spam.

I dunno, i'm not really interested in any of the clan mechs personally. But i cant deny that the mad cat has been easily the most popular and most asked for mech since launch and that putting it behind the 210 tier is a really transparent exploitative cash grab. tons of people have expressed that they only want that mech and NOTHING else.

but yeah with the world economy in the toilet a 500-dollar-look-how-*******-rich-i-am mech isnt too nice either.

edit:not to mention no hard points described on the mech. Expecting us to buy it on blind faith. and then shirking the canon (which i dont care about at ALL when the canon hurts game balance), which they knew was going to make people upset.

it kind of feels like they had a choice between making two seperate groups upset and then chose to upset EVERYONE

WHY ARE THEY NOT TWO "SEPERATE BUT EQUAL" $120 PACKS?

That would make the $240 total if someone wanted both packs more solid to me. But forcing you to buy ALL 8 to get the second complete weight range strikes me as gouging.

What's funny is PGI looks at me and probably goes "Oh, we don't care about him. He's only spent like $120, $60 for founders and then $60 for MC over the whole time. He's not worth worrying about." They miss the fact I'd have spent several times that had they not been so stubborn. I am not alone.

If you told me about Phoenix Pack in closed beta you'd had me. Now I feel like the best choice I've ever made was not getting it and just grabbing a Shadow Hawk for cbills. Poorly handled to say the least.

Thanks for warning us PGI. As obviously the game won't survive the near future, I'll stop putting money into it right away.

I guess, IF the game still exists in June, there won't be much of a community left.

Also, I would only have wanted the Stormcrow, but certainly I would not spend that much money to buy lots of other mechs I don't want.
