I have promised myself i WILL NEVER EVER give a dime again to PGI.

But now i must buy the ISLAND package for sure.
:D

500$ seems a bit too much, but worth it.

I'm being semi-serious here. Does anyone know how much IGP/PGI is worth?

I swear to God I want to get in touch with some of the LL devs and start a kickstarter to buy PGI. The way things are going they can't be worth that much.

There's a twist: You're already on the Island!

LMFAO I always knew the DEVs at PGI were freaking clueless, but I tried to have hope as I LOVE the BT Universe. I guess I was right all along. I knew they had no freaking clue how to use the CryEngine in Closed Beta because I know the CryEngine, and what it is capable of. but I always hoped they would figure it out, or at least hire someone that knew what they hell they were doing. These DEVs claim to be HUGE BT FANS. Yeah right! I stopped spending money on this game a while back, and I am glad I did. All my money now goes towards Star Citizen which I KNOW those DEVs know what they are doing because they have already shown us. They keep us informed where the guys at PGI don't tell us ANYTHING. These prices (even the ones for the Phoenix packages) are ridiculous. I have never bought a Hero Mech ( other than Sara's Mech but that was for charity, and NOT PGI), and never will as the prices are too high. If PGI was smart ALL Hero Mechs would be $5-$7. At those prices even someone with little extra cash would buy a couple. These Money Grab packages they have been coming up with would also have Individual Mechs for sell of ALL the Variants rather than having to shell out a ton of cash to get the 1 Mech you actually want, and a {Scrap}-ton of Mechs you don't. PGI has NO CLUE, and I don't think they will ever get one. I truely want this game to work, but I lost faith in the DEVs a LOOOONG time ago!

Fix the game, add long time requested features, divide prices by 2 and maybe i will buy something.

Thanks for warning us PGI. As obviously the game won't survive the near future, I'll stop putting money into it right away.

I guess, IF the game still exists in June, there won't be much of a community left.

The way they are handling the Clans from gameplay to pricing, yeah, pretty much this.

The sad part is with the way they REFUSE to acknowledge the community and what we want out of the game, I can't decide if they want it to crash & burn or if they have fingers in their ears going "lalalalala."

Do they still claim the forums are a silent minority? I recognize 99% of the people playing from here.

Just wanted to start a poll to see who actually would buy one of the packages. Then I saw that we're obviously not allowed to create polls any longer. That's how PGI cherishes our opinions. Go figure. :D

Well... excited for the Clans and pumped to see many of my favorite 'mechs in the franchise in the opening line-up. However... those prices are insane. I missed my chance to pick up a Founder's package due to computer issues last year, but I would have been willing to throw down $40-$60. I was hoping the Clans would provide a similar pricing scheme, but this is absurd. In the modified words of Luke: "$500? You could buy your own XboxOne/PS4/new computer/8 new games for that." Maybe I'll pick up the Nova package, but I have to wonder: if prices were more reasonable, would they make more money than with this current pricing? It seems they could hit a wider market than just those players with enough disposable income willing to spend more than the price of a game for less content. How much were the MW4 MechPaks again?

Ok, I'm done ranting. Still excited to get behind the cockpit of the Nova, Timberwolf, and Warhawk finally (eventually).

Well if that went on kickstarter I would throw more money at that than they are going to get from me again.

This was the wrong step at the wrong time. It makes it really difficult to belive that this game become more than it is now.

haha did they really take out the ability to create polls?

Paul must have gotten tired of 85% of us telling him his ideas suck. Better to ice the polls than fix the problem, am I right??

A protest outside their offices...? That could actually gain their attention....

I envisioned P.G.I's offices having having no roof, the windows they said were going to be square turned up round, and half the doors don't work properly.

Then thought, fortunately for the city, they only lease the offices..and didn't build them.

I love how you igp/pgi continues to go for the money while not providing a single scratch of the things promised for over a year and half.

Says the person with the founders and phoenix tags. I got my packages, didn't you?

Personally, I'll want more answers about things before I'd seriously consider this purchase. As others have states, there are too many items up in the air that we (the players) are being asked to purchase in advance without information.

The mechs and mech bays are pretty straight forward. Although more details about the mechs would be nice. Weight class, hard points and their types, etc...

Signed Digital Concept Art? Is this a digitally signed copy? Is it concept art that was digitally created, physically produced, and physically signed? Is it a limited number?

Exclusive wallpaper? Meh. I play the game in full screen, and the wall paper is really nothing of value to me, personally. Plus, in lower systems, detailed wallpaper can be additional overhead on a system that may be just meeting requirements to play.

Bonus modules. I'd want to hear more on what it is, and if there are more than one. Or is "4 bonus modules" 4 of the same bonus module. I'd except it won't be overly impressive, to avoid "pay to win" but if it is listed as a selling point I'd expect it to be something unique. And I'd want to know if its going to have an equal in the game that isn't a bonus module. Too many companies play technicalities with "exclusive" and "bonus" items that turn out to be nothing more than a repackaged item that is available in the game without the 'exclusive' or 'bonus' part.

Medallions. Okay, you've been pushing the cockpit items, but I'd finally want to hear more about the factions and how they work before that part of the package would be considered by me. This is part of what I stated above about wanting players to buy something without any knowledge. Especially since it appears medallions can already be bought, individually in the game already. What makes this medallion so special that I'd want to spend money on it?

Warhorn? Okay, what is a warhorn? Please don't tell me the mechs are going to get car horns? Mario Mech Kart.

Premium Time seems a bit light when going from the 150 package to the 240 package. Almost a hundred dollar (US) difference, and the Premium Time remains constant at 90 days. I would think the top tier package would have a longer Premium Time count than the package a hundred dollars cheaper.
