Now 90 only nets you 9 mechs and 30 days of time?
I'm not sure I'll do this, and I'm in CJF.

I also have to say that the artwork is "mighty fine" and had a bit of a tearful moment seeing the Stormcrow released as this was a Mech I sat in a lot back in the days of MW2 on Kali 95. Good times. But what made it good then wasn't necessarily the Mech but the fun times and banter with other players in a purposeful enactment of Clan warfare in the ladders back then.
I similarly hold to the idea that PGI do need to start "delivering" and I have to say it but Chronojam's pic kind of indicates the hearts and minds of the player base as to most things that will help to encourage the best returns for PGI/IGP.
With core "game play" content delivered this will naturally help to encourage Mech and cockpit item sales accordingly. So I can only assume that returns can't be being maximised with this announcement which seems to reflect in user comments.
The new "gold standard" however is just .... well .... "confuzzeled". I like to contribute to MWO to help development but I find it hard to justify $500 for a lick of gold paint in an attempt to make myself feel special so can't endorse them. I could do that better by donating that same money to charity knowing the standard Mechs provide sufficient enjoyment for those platforms at more sensible pricing levels.

Let people buy just the mech type they want. It's idiotic how much money you are losing by forcing people to buy the top one or two packs if they want just a Mad Cat, or Masakari.
This tiered buying systems just really stinks of money grabbing, or inflating the prices of the top tiered mechs.

PGI's lack of content is due to preparing the Clan Mechs (and pretty much all the new content you see promised). Now you really want to complain when they are letting you pre-order 8 months worth of Mechs (assuming they release them one month at a time)?

Oh ok ok, Honest mistake : ), herp derp math moment, 24 bays meaning a bay for each. Always get confused when they word it that way. Still, It's better than what I had thought initially.
it's still a money grab...but, I'm a BT fan at heart, and will support it as long as it's the only title out there, that doesn't mean I can't play other games either.
more premium time would be nice though

But surely the point is that they are adding content they can sell, rather than implementing the gameplay features that people want? We already have tons of mechs - we need CW, game modes etc

Another option would be a two way pack.
WARDEN Package with Uller, Blackhawk, thor Daishi 30$-60$-90$-120$
CRUSADER Package with Puma, Ryoken, Mad cat, Masakari 30$-60$-90$-120$
and TOUMAN Package with special skins for all the variants for 250-275$

Ghost Heat is a necessary feature to counter act 6PPC Stalker and High Alpha Builds.
No it isn't. It wasn't until they put out the PPC nerf that the hexstalkers were curbed. And even then it just shifted to a 2PPC 1Gauss meta.
It's just amazing how people forget even the recent past.

Then don't play the game. This game is F2P and they need money to continue development. Problem is, the lack of new [anything] is because they have been designing new Mechs, Modules, etc. for these packages. If they don't step up their game after this though, then they have no excuse.

What really grinds my gears is we haven't really been delivered everything promised from the Phoenix packages we've already purchased. Many of us are waiting to redeem our faction medallions because we don't know what they'll do for us when clan wars are released.
I guess I'll revisit the idea of purchasing any of this in 6 months, if I'm even still playing then.
