You forgot to overlook at the fact that Chris Roberts and his team delivered new version of the game build without fail so far, unlike somebody who failed to deliver something for over a year without clear explanation.

I think the things that make this best for me...is since I generally stopped posting heavily I've really had a chance to watch the changes in posters.

For instance Homeless Bill...he has a really short temper on the boards now and curses a LOT. Never used to be that way. But now you can tell he's just fed up and grasping at reasons to continue playing and validate money he's spent. He's invested so much time and energy into the game with no return.

Or Colonel Pada...one of the staunchest defenders. And unlike Heffay (who is a pure troll) I can tell he actually believed what he said. He would defend every action of PGI like a zealot. And now even he's turned.

I'm sure PGI will make some money off of this, but just watching the poster's shift positions...I'm pretty sure I could write a doctorate paper on this stuff.

Everyone's had it wrong from the start. PGI gave us CW like they promised : Proxis and RHoD.

guys: a golden mech is nothing else but a primary target. I will focus any goldie instantly. I'll give them something for their money :) That's NOT pay to win. But fun :unsure:

btw: if you think the prices are too high simply get the FREE STANDARD VARIANTS. They will be good enough, trust me :)

MWO has been instructive for me. I may end up buying into Star Citizen just prior to launch provided they hit their deliverables along the way, but I haven't paid them a penny yet.

On a more serious note:

I understand fully that PGI has bills to pay, hell thier monthly payroll is probly around $100,000 ( 50 x $2000 a month) but at the same time they HAVE to show us where the hell the money is going. right now thier probly like " why are people mad?" cause you dont tell us anything dippy, im not a mind reader! if i was i wouldnt get shot down by women all the time, i'd know already! the only thing i can think of is that they have without a doubt the greatest forum guys ever hiding the complete rage most of us feel on all of thier idiotic ideas. " yeah russ the people are stoked they even came down by the hundreds with torches to save us money on heat for the winter thier all gathered outside!!"

As one of those, I feel it is necessary to point out that SC is a wholly crowdfunded venture and the team is only responsible for delivering a quality product to its backers. PGI and IGP have a somewhat different set of responsibilities and as with other packages... there is no telling if this money will end up helping to further MWO or not. This is the main reason the higher pricing feels wrong.

I am willing to pay these kinds of prices {gold mechs not included} for clan mechs, but with the slow development of the other game features I will be waiting very close to the cutoff date to decide if I buy or not. If PGI/IGP were ensuring this money was to stay in the MWO project fund to hire talent and make the game better and PGI's overall track record was better, I think many people would respond differently.

Well, that's my primary concern.
****ing up the clans to make them playable will make me stop playing this game.

It's part of the lore, a 1 clan vs 2 is mechs ratio (book-wise) or 1 clan vs 6 is mechs (TT-wise).
So what is all this "variants" -cr*p about ?
