Maybe this should have been presented on 15 April for a "Tax Return Salebration" instead.

HAHAHAHAHA. I am not paid at all, enjoy that assumption though.

You're really like the White House press corps in the US. They're not directly paid by the Obama Administration but act like it and repeat the Administration's talking points over and over. You're doing the same thing for PGI.

Last I heard was single player dogfights vs AI @ end of December. Multiplayer dogfights early 2014.

Apparently they decided to write their own multiplayer code rather than use the provided CryEngine multiplayer code because the former would make for a better game in the long run.

When they start missing deliverables by 12 months or more, like PGI, then comparisons will be apt.

I'm not buying this to fund CW or even UI2.0. We've already paid for those features.

I will buy this once we have the previous promises in place. We have time.

By "fund" you mean willingly giving your money for content that would have been developed anyway? I think you just wanted the content that came with the packages. Not necessarily paying for the development of the content.

its a F2P game, so noone is saying we will give you CW if you pay us $$$ for clan mechs.

I'm also quite enjoying all of the people with Overlord badges posting their distaste.

Fools are soon parted from their money and all that.

the amount of posts in here by people with almost no post counts is what should really be the danger sign.

Just to echo the posts I've liked on this thread -- no such sale for me until I see more of the promised features implemented. Sorry guys, I get it with the dev cycle and desire for a holiday sale, but please do better in the future to make sure you don't further alienate your playerbase.

I think you underestimate how much of the buying decision from MW fans comes from a desire to help push the project along and encourage not just MWO to develop, but the development of more MW games (remake of MW3 anyone?). That good will pushes up the price people are willing to pay for new mech packs. And that good will is also evaporating. Fast.

It’s interesting that so many people are reacting negatively to this, myself included. I should be thrilled! The mechs look fantastic [possibly some of the best interpretations I have ever seen of these classic mechs] and clans are something we were all waiting for. People will spend twice as much as these ridiculous prices on a ship in Star Citizen without batting an eye. But not on MWO; why? Because you have used up all of your mulligans, PGI/IGP. People are fed up with the carrot-on-a-stick empty promises of “Community Warfare” without having concrete information on how it will work, or if it will even be implemented before gold mechs. Can you see why we’re upset? It’s not so much entitlement or privilege; after backing this game for over a year we still have not seen or heard of core concepts that were initially put forth at the outset. This isn't beta.

If you are to overcome the event horizon of your community’s rage, I hope you release more information soon, or at least lower process to 7$per mech. Sell more units, not less.

The Timberwolf, doesn't cost $210 by itself. It's got all the lower collections as well.
A whole bunch of mechs that most people have no interest whatsoever in getting.

You are missing a few critical pieces of information, that should of been throught out before posting the clan information.

1. How will omni mechs work? (Based on the fact you list variants, I would hazard a guess they aren't true omni mechs)

2. Video with extend in-game play of the mechs listed.

3. When will the 'advanced purcahse' end. (Item #1 & #2 should be available weeks before the end of pre-order)

On a personal note, the prices are high. More so considering PGI haven't completed what was promised to the player base already. Fillful some of your existing promises and players might be more willing to trust your company.

Yep - it's like being able to buy a whole set of cool new cars, but there are no good roads to drive them on.

Sure didn't.

If they had released UI2.0 and a private matches lobby by lets say mid...February...

Even if UI2.0 sucked...but the private matches function worked well...just think of how well this would have gone.

But no, they cash grabbed.

I actually have to be honest I want them all. Besides the gold ones $4000 for all the gold ones no thanks why pay that much when I could get them all for a payment of $240?
