While I like the idea of getting my hands on some clan tech....I question the reason for putting this out, when we are waiting for so much. Are you trying to alienate your fanbase?

Let see here...

No Community Warfare
No UI 2.0
Tiny map pool
Maps with severe issues still (clipping, no textures on Frozen, many small map, etc.)
Two pathetic game modes
Significant weapon balance issues
LRMs and Electronics are a JOKE
Ghost Heat is still a thing

Nah, I think I'll pass on a $500 dollar Warhawk. Thanks but, no thanks.

Whats a Clan?

Racist space-fascists who invade the Inner Sphere to justify their diseased warrior culture. =)

As for the actual Packages, I have some questions:
  • What the heck is a "custom Module?" "War Horns?" Specifically, a module sounds like an in-game advantage. This will be bad news for most of the player-base.
  • 500 bucks for a collector's 'mech?! That price tag also raises concerns about what exactly is being bought - is it just a limited Hero 'mech, or is there an absolute advantage that comes with that huge cost?
  • As for the collections, holy {Scrap} that's expensive! Is there any way we could get a wider range of weight classes in smaller packages?

Your [redacted] high. It comes with 8 mechs modules and 90 days. ITs 10 bucks a mech. Don't like it don't buy it sheesh. Im loyal customer too. LMAO>

The price doesn't bother me. I just want to know how they will be integrated with CW. Will I be forced to join a Clan faction to use them? What things have they changed to balance them? Will we be able to drop with both Clan and IS mechs? These questions need to be answered.

Why are you all crying about a Gold Skin Mech costing $500.00 Dude seriously its just helping fund the game. It's like a transformers lucky draw (Gold Prime Usually aka Convoy) You don't need to pay a dime for these mechs. If you don't want them don't [redacted] buy them. You big QQ'ing babies. It's FTP. For god sakes. You can save up other ways. Man you whiners need to be slapped. Nobody is forcing you to buy what I consider a good deal. less than $10.00 a mech. Go buy a $100.00 starship if you don't like it with 6months insurance lmao.

Also we generally have up to week before they are released to buy them if we want.

Well, some of us said this would happen when people bought Phoenix on empty promises of CW and, ye know, the actual game they said they were making. Looks like some of us were right.

Good thing you haven't managed to anger your mods, right?

I'm not going to complain about the prices, that's its own very glaring issue, but I'm sure PGI feels confident they can pull off the numbers they want at that price point....especially given that they don't arrive till June. People will have time to save up.

My concern is more along the lines of where's the information on all of this junk that comes in the packs? Some general information on the Mechs (hardpoints, engines, stock stuff, how CLAN MECHS WILL WORK IN THIS GAME), information on the new kit (clan based weapons, engines, DHS etc), what are the modules, badges etc etc.

Seriously, I realize that some fanboys are going to shell out the bucks today already simply based on the vapor-ware promises, but shouldn't the vast majority of us who are not and the ones you've clearly irritated time and again with your community management theme, get some actual information on the pixel-product so we can make a half-assed informed decision?

Or is there more info on that page that I simply am not finding?

Who here wants to bet that PGI is just trying to get some fast cash before shutting down MWO? This sale is a little sudden... a little RUSHED even. No clan mechs in the trailer? It sounds like it wasn't PGI's plan to initiate this sale so soon with only concept art for the clan mechs available.

Niko, if PGI was going out of buisness you would tell us right? :)

I feel like I spent money on Founders and Phoenix packages because it would help fund development. It seems like it has just funded other cash grabs.

I'd be more excited if I didn't feel burned by the PP. A whole bunch of mechs I didn't like to find only a few that I did.

Hopefully this "sale" stays up for a while, in case things are different in three months.

Why no early bird-bonus like the one for PP?

I'm tired of you damn apologists where every answer to monotization is "it's helping fund the game". If I saw TRUE progress in this game, then yea, that'd be fine.

So how are those loyalty points working out for you anyways?

Yeah, then the Phoenix Mechs ended up looking nothing like the concept art.

At this point PGI my answer is no. Maybe when you give us everything else you have been promising for the last year and a half I will reconsider but until then...
