I just want to point out that top tier is $240.

That is a lot of money for a game that is dependent on players actually playing... Also... I am pretty sure I had all these mechs in MW2 for like $40.

PGI, calm down. This is [redacted] crazy expensive.

We have basically no idea how the Clan tech and mechs will work. I would have expected that would have been revealed at the same time as this deal (conveniently just in time for Christmas).

CW is still far, far away. Really, this is the dealbreaker here for me.

UI2.0 still not done and judging by the comments of the people who have tried it, plus the words of the devs in the latest update, it will be bad and buggy when it is released in an unfinished state.

Also, this deal is... expensive.

No, thank you. Please go fix the basic features that should have been ready long before "release" back in September.

Edit: Oh yeah, what's up with the "unique modules" mentioned?

If we're supposed to be following the timeline, I don't know why players should be able to use Clan Mechs so soon and I'd be much happier if that was prohibited.

We are not all Mercenaries, you know. Some of us have been waiting for the opportunity to finally show our true colors and join the Touman!

My concern is that Timber Wolf cost $210. If it was an Assault Mech like the Executioner or the Gargoyle, it would be fine. However this could cause the people who wanted their "Mad Cats" to get frustrated easily. To avoid this problem, you should lower Timber Wolf's price to $80 since it's a Heavy Mech.

The Timberwolf, doesn't cost $210 by itself. It's got all the lower collections as well.

Why are you all crying about a Gold Skin Mech costing $500.00 Dude seriously its just helping fund the game. It's like a transformers lucky draw (Gold Prime Usually aka Convoy) You don't need to pay a dime for these mechs. If you don't want them don't [redacted] buy them. You big QQ'ing babies. It's FTP. For god sakes. You can save up other ways. Man you whiners need to be slapped. Nobody is forcing you to buy what I consider a good deal. less than $10.00 a mech. Go buy a $100.00 starship if you don't like it with 6months insurance lmao.

Also we generally have up to week before they are released to buy them if we want.

I have no problem with the full package, and as for people thinking the timberwolf will be only avail for the max tier pre orders are just dumb... My issue is the GOLD mechs that state they have technology unavailable to any other mech, aside from being ugly overpriced insults to the community. I would rather stuff $500 into a donation box than see those eyesores in the field.

When you say the "bigger picture", what time frame are you talking about here? Could you please just clarify exactly what was promised in the initial crowd funding for the game, compared to what we have now months into release? I say again, there still isn't a proper tutorial for the game, parring of course movement which is one small part of what you need to learn.

Your money is yours to do with as you wish, but I honestly can't see how you can be so rose tinted at this point given all the missed deadlines, things still not implimented, and the overall "cheek" of still asking for quite a substantial amount of money in comparison to other games or physical goods at this point in "development"

I can see why you'd think I'm wearing 'rose coloured glasses', but I'm anxiously awaiting those features as well. As much as anyone here, but I'm also a realist. Dead lines are missed, publishers take their cut, problems arise, etc. I can deal with that. Life is much too short to get all uppity about this. I love this game, I wish all those features were here, but I still love it.

That being said, I am still on your side. I would like a show of faith. I want these features, and I want PGI to keep the lights on so they can deliver them to us. Things cost money.

If you don't want to pre-order, then don't. Simple as that. Bide your time, and purchase everything you want for C-bills.

Concept Art might pass their criteria... it NEVER passes modelling and rigging which is a real shame. Why? Because Alex and the artists work really hard to sell us on their concept art, and the redesigns, many love them, but their never represented as presented ingame as they should be.

Now this thread is growing fast, and the one thing I keep seeing is the PRICE of the packages are TOO DAM HIGH!

I agree with the spirit of these posts for this thread. Either you are desperate, greedy or somewhere along the line lost the business-customer common sense that is needed to keep a customer base happy. I have spent enough money on this game to go on a nice vacation. Because I, like many others love the MechWarrior genre.
Not one more penny from me until we get CW and some UI love. New maps and game modes would be nice for the cash we are spending as well.
(If you sell out to soe, may you eat over salted cookies the rest of your days) The cash grab and late delivery look bad.

By the way I want more information on how you're doing the variants! I know for a fact the Mad Cat has 5 variants (Prime, A to D) so will all variants be put into the game and the package gets the Prime + a choice of the 2 out of 4 others variants? Do we only have 3 variants in total injected into the game?
