Clan Collections - Feedback

At $240 the Masakari Collection is a bit high, but then I consider what it includes: 8 different Mechs with 3 variants each (totaling 24 Mechs) and each Prime Variant offering a 30% c-bill bonus, plus the 4 bonus modules, 8 badges, 4 hanging cockpit items, 8 custom titles, 1 signed digital art-piece, 8 warhorns (not sure what those are going to be), and 90 days Premium time.
Lets break it down:
$240 for 24 mechs @ (255 + 225 + 165 + 105 + 300 + 210 + 150 + 90) 1500 TONS
$10/Mech OR $0.16/Ton
This does not take into account the mech bays and premium time.
Mechbays are another 7200MC value. If you get the $100 package, $1 is 250 MC, as such the Mechbays are an estimated $28.8.
Premium Time @ 90 days is 2500 * 3 = 7500MC, so $30
So far we have:
Mechs @ hero mech prices per ton = 1500tons * 75MC = 112500 MC OR $450 (112500/25,000 * 100)
Mechbays are another 28.8 and premium is 30
-------------
Mechs: $450
-------------
Bays: $28.8
-------------
Premium: $30
-------------
-------------
Total cost: $508.8
Also, whoever buys a virtual item for $500 is not wise with monetary decisions. They will buy it just to say they dropped $500. Am I getting one? No, heck no. I don't think personally that ANYONE should get one.
But if someone wants to buy it - let them who cares - if they want an e-peen booster of a $500 gold injection, let them.
Whatever, flame me,
Love.

So at the end of the day, I guess I hope PGI uses that money to make this game even better.
PGI: if your listening, I'm willing to put down 60 bucks on a single Timber Wolf with no extra frills other then a unique paint job perhaps, It don't need to be made out of gold either.

Why no early bird-bonus like the one for PP?
Screenshotting this for when we find out it'll be a year+ before the Timberwolf is available for c-bill purchase.

Seems to be more true than a joke whether you meant it to be one or not. As long as there are people who choose to spend their varying amounts of disposable income on this game at the drop of a hat there will be no motivation for any improvements. Obviously people can do whatever they want with their money, it just seems that if the money keeps coming PGI/IGP can keep promising and promising without actually doing anything.

Get a clue - each package comes with all the lower ones included.
And the $500 Mechs are pay-to-win? Since when does a gold Mech that stands out like a sore thumb make it a Win Machine? How is any of this Pay-to-Win if they're ALL going to be made available for purchase with C-Bills (except the gold-colored ones with the zero-superpowers)?
Some people have no right to complain.
If you can't buy the Packages, then just buy the darn Mechs when they come out. Sheesh.
ProPark's got the idea.

example of CW functionality
-You win a match
-get xp/cbills/scoreboard BUT now you also get +500 points for steiner for having steiner flagged as your house
-steiner weaponry and mechs are at a 5% dsicount for you when you're flagged as steiner, can't have a real dsicount otherwise you'll feed the piggy less real money
-end of every X hours or days, points are rallied up and houses get their points tallied and a recalculation of everyone's house points to see which house affiliates get what discount %s
this is the most I fear we can hope for considering PGI's absolutely disgusting performance developing this game.
U.I. 2.0 will dissapoint, just like every other feature ever added after public launch (open beta launch)
don't expect pgi to fix the game, light mechs will always have lag shields and lag shield bugs they don't even know exist cuz they're idiots, medium mechs will always just be heavy mechs with half the firepower and armor, need a total resizing/speed adjustment rework that won't ever happen. The clan mechs aren't even things you can put in a game trailer yet, they're going to be so rushed the quality will be sad, then mechwarrior will probably be shut down after PGI has paid off it's debts with the money they generate from this launch since IGP owns them and doesn't value them as anything more than a short-term cash grab.

First, some basic numbers. 1 MC = 2500 c-bills for mech pricing. Hero mechs cost 75 MC per ton. 250 MC costs 1 USD (at the 100 USD price point for best efficiency).
Each Clan mech is 10 USD regardless of weight. The cheapest pack is the Uller at 30 tons. As a Hero mech it should cost 2250 MC, or 9 USD. The other two variants, being non-Hero (no c-bill bonus), should be priced based on c-bill cost. Reversing the price conversion we find that they ought to run roughly 6,250,000 c-bills each. This price will hold true for all non-bonus variants (which is super low for most of them, considering they use expensive Clan tech and most are much heavier than the Uller.
The Daishi Hero, at 100 tons, should cost 7500 MC, or 30 USD just for the one variant. The other two variants will likely cost roughly 30 million c-bills, or 12,000 MC (nearly double the Hero price), which equals 48 USD. That makes the 10 USD per variant price point crazy low for the heavier mechs here. Really only the Uller and maybe the Puma are overpriced, the others are pretty much all way cheaper in the pack than they would be otherwise.
All this is aside from the 7200 MC in Mech Bays (or 28.8 USD) for the largest pack. Then you can factor in the premium time, which caps at 90 days and costs 7500 MC (if you buy 3 sets of 30; it'd be 6750 if you took half the 180 day pack), or 30 USD.
I don't feel like going through each and every mech, but all in all the package is super price efficient, especially as the total weight of the mechs increases and the number of ancillary benefits grows.
The real mystery has to be the Gold mechs, but those are obviously limited-edition vanity rides that are targeting a tiny portion of the player base. We don't know details, and the unique module and special warhorn could be meaningful. Until PGI releases more info we can't really judge them, but my guess is they will be vanity or convenience only.
TLDR - The package is very price efficient, and gets even more so the higher up you go on the tier list.
Might be price efficient, but the point of the matter is that the overall cost to purchase any package is outside what most would even be willing to spend. Particularly since the main components of this game are continually delayed, and this package is selling concept art only, it will be over 6 months before we see any ingame assets. Throw in another 8 month release schedule after June 17 if you don't want to pay the obscene prices... we'll you just got your playerbase to hold out for a year for what is really becoming a debased simple game with no real content (even projected content which most likely won't be fully functional by the time this package drops).

However if they sold the Timber Wolf (Mad Cat) in a pack that was just the 3 variants for like $40 maybe a bunch of people would buy that. The $210-$240 would still be a better deal if you want a bunch of the mechs and premium time but if you don't want all that stuff then you would at least put something toward this package.
Even then that's a bit steep for my liking but I would consider it, where as I'm not going to consider these packages.
