New mechs isnt REAL CONTENT. More game modes, CW, and **** they have promised us for 2 ******* years is new content.

No actually, I think they are doing poorly right now. IGP is clearly exasperating the problem however. The whole thing is a mess. While the gameplay is fun(though in desperate need of more) , it's only borderline BT at best. I mean, we have Omni-IS mechs and {Scrap}. A couple changes could fix this. Like making all IS mechs stock weaponry, with options to change only the internal structure, armor, add/remove armor, change engines, and add modules. Then Clan mechs could have the system that is in place now, slightly changed to make all hardpoints accept any weapon(true Omni).

So, no, I don't hold PGI blameless, they are the developer after all. They could have said no to IGP when/if they were/are forced to make changes they don't want to. They could also research BT and learn something about it too(possibly seeing how un-BT-like this is becoming). But seriously, who wants to give money to Kelly Zmat(guy who nearly ruined MW2)? I'd rather see it go to PGI than any of that money trickle out to IGP.

What sucks the most is I REALLY want this game to prosper and develop over years and years, but doing things like this does nothing but promote animosity and cast doubt on the future of the product.

Not only is the cost prohibitively expensive it is more than 6 months away.

If you really wanted to make money, you should allow the player base to build their own packages and offer discounts based on the number of items in said package.

I don't have a problem with being patient and waiting for a complete game. What I have a problem with is PGI seemingly putting their focus in the one thing we don't need right now: more mechs.... and in a way that looks like a shameless cash grab.

I put money into the Founder's stuff because I wanted to play MechWarrior again and thought you would give it a steady helm. I wanted to see you succeed and I wanted to help pay your way to launch the game.

I bought the Phoenix Package because I wanted to show you that I'm willing to spend money to get Reseen 'Mechs. Like, I don't know, a Marauder.

But that doesn't seem to be what you've learned from me. Instead of using the money I paid for the things that I, I don't know, paid for (like community warfare, for instance), you've squandered it. Hopefully on hookers and drugs. And based on the pricing you're offering, I'd guess you have some gambling debts owed to the mob that you need to pay off in a hurry.

What I was expecting, was what MechWarrior 2 offered.

They have stated many, many times, a long time ago, that PvE would never see the light of day, I accepted that.

They are giving me more mechs and maps to play on.

Upvoted. I had thought all the work from phoenix and other buys would have been going into development of community warfare. This blatently shows that it instead is going into something other then the PRIMARY ISSUE.

I have bought every package out there so far. EVERY ONE.

I'm done purchasing anything UNTIL I see at least a video detailing in game demos of CW. I dont see a point until they get moving on that.

The only thing I feel that they have not delivered is CW. We have two game modes that have proven to be fun enough for me to keep coming back (they are only deathmatch if you let them become them, I';ve one and lost many times to caps) and we have another one coming soon. Good balance is something that will always be changing so it is not something I actually expect to ever be fulfilled. More maps than we did at the start, new mechs every month. I never paid for UI2.0
