I think i'm going to start putting aside some money in coming months and if I see the game start to roll out UI 2.0, CW, DX11 and other stuff till spring, then I'm going to lay down 240$ flat out somewhere in April, no questions asked :)

I don't usually say much about PGI, I thought they were making the game, give em a chance stop the hate.

BUT

this is ridiculous, asking that kind of money to then just release them for c-bills later is a slap in the face.

PGI YOU SCREWED UP BIG STYLE HERE!

I like playing the game but this will probably kill it forever!

So glad people here have no idea how much I've dropped into Star Citizen. :)

I'll happily pony up for the $240 for 24 mechs etc but even I'm looking a bit askance at the $500 a mech despite it being $1,250 a pop for an Idris-P.

That said those Idris-P's are available in game for free and batches of 100's sold in literal seconds every time they were posted despite no warning......

The game is also completely crowd-funded, and the "purchases" are donations to enable development of the game.

So what I'm hearing is we need Miracle Max?

I can still play, I can still get into matches easily. I can still form groups on TS easily. Development is still continuing. None of that even looks toward the game being dead.

I could be off by a long shot, as no one knows how clan mechs will be handled.

But in MechWarrior 2 there were Primes and variants. Same mech, different load outs.

I imagine we will be buying the default load out of any variant type, which can all hold any weapon anyway.

"But that's just [REDACTED]"

IN a way, yes, but if they require 3 basic mechs of one chassis to unlock the next tier, it makes more sense.

"Who owns more than one mech of one variant?"

That depends, some people prefer to have multiple mechs of one type with different load outs so they don't have to go back and swap out all of the equipment.

Again, I am not sure how this will pan out, but this seem more likely given the current pilot system.

When they re-add repair and rearm. Timers and the like. Having 3 omni mechs is simply....game breaking.

Hmmm Yes I enjoy my renaming of this game at MoneyWarrior Online.

LOL.

No, just no.

I'm a whale. I've spent $460 on this game so far. I can afford the top tier package. My wife would probably buy me a Gold Mech for Christmas, too.

However, I am not giving you another cent until you deliver UI2.0 AND lobbies AND community warfare. That is the minimum I will accept before buying more Mech-Shovels for a purposeless grind.

The fact that you just made the game Pay To Win with Gold Mechs offering additional module slots makes my decision to stop backing you even easier.

Ok... that's it. I hereby volunteer to be Press Secretary/Community Ambassador for PGI/IGP . I offer my services for free. I am well aware of the fire that will be directed my way, but clearly you guys need serious help in this department.

There is a better way to do these things. :)

This is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ********...

You ppl can become NuclearWeapon, get a not so bad name beign a totally full ret*rd pilot without any aiming skill at all.

I'm done with this piece of s**t

Your business model is full of bad practices and I wont sink in that ship, PGI.

Also you prove to us how much atention you pay to the hardcore players rather than the "good for nothing pilots that can't aim for sh*t" so there's no point on complaining.

And yeah... get me banned so I can move on with another reason besides that the fact that PGI and IGP are a bunch of tu*ds that killed the game... or never developed it as they should.

I'll log in to check pm's if any.

You can get an alt acount with a founders status and 30 mechs to go with it xD... wait I forgot the high ELO thing...

THe gold mechs do not get another module slot. They get a unique bonus module.

240$ uh?

I'm going to get a SSD 240 GB drive i want. And with the rest i'll buy the Valve complete pack. Or i may use that money to feed my family for a month. Or buy a set of tires for my car...

The 500$ mechs are just a joke. I want to convince myself the advertising writer slipped a zero at the end of the price which shouldn't be there.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM HINT: Please, hire a new publicist. This one is making you appear as a bunch of idiots, or thiefs, and i don't know what's worse.

A concerned player.

However many they can manage to sell. Putting a counter on it might mean they don't sell out

I have a pretty good feeling that "special module" will be a loyalty boost module, a very small one, I am sure.

They will be limited to the number that are purchased. Working as intended.

Edit: Dihm beat me to it.

PGI/IGP is just stringing us along with talk of a more fully and properly developed game all the while selling us their bits and bobs. Once they run out of bits and bobs people actually want to buy, game over.

Yes. We give them the cash now, they deliver a set of new Mech models in June, and then fold in July.

I tried to be nice during release. I really felt that 0 reviews & the massive trolling was obviously bad for the game. I tried to deny that PGI would clan pack & run to the bahamas on vacation.

But PGI doesn't play along.

They do exactly what all the trolls and mean people said - no ui 2.0, no CW, no...anything. ui 2.0 mechlab on PTR so far makes ui 1.5 mechlab look like a work of art.

fool me once, fool me twice, etc etc.

No more PGI.

Collisions, DFA, & destructible objects are STILL MISSING. You know how cool collisions is in war thunder? How the hell can you not program this stuff in 2013?

You need to break out the sweetness of UI 2.0 & CW right now.

Or watch the 3PV fiasco turn into a "minor incident" compared to the fiasco of epic fail this clan pack & your future as a business is liekly to be if you keep careening the vessle you call a business down this path.

Of course, maybe I am wrong. Maybe PGI is swimming in money, and these clan packs are FLYING off the shelves.

in which case, ignore me, as I join the other 90% of mechwarriors on our Island.

Jesus, PGI broke Col Pada.... :)
