Guys, the party is over. The post confirms our worst fears.

It isn't over until Samuel L Jackson says it is.

Dont be scared, be happy (I know I'd be). Whoever picks this up cannot possibly frack it up any worse than these clowns.

They got the core gameplay right, the art team is doing an outstanding job and yes we got scammed all over, these are all facts.

Another possible fact is that when PGI will fail MWO nobody will take over. It would be such a shame but they are currently making this game reaching the status of "untouchable".

We want PGI out of the picture but MWO to be around with another team ( keep the art division!) and i think thats what people are affraid of; if PGI goes down MWO will probably sink with it... :P

Sounds reasonable as long as you hold to your dates. Please stick to them. Work real hard. Please.

They have no track record of sticking to dates, so why should they now?

This time the really really really really mean it. I mean like really. I am sure there will be no "unforeseen" problems and suddenly PGI will get things right the first time and not take months to fix things. I mean he said they are committed. Who can question these guys? This time will be different. This time deadlines are going to be met or... they won't.
This post was so full of meh, it was minimally viable product, just like PGI aims for. They really hit it out of the infield, my faith is restored. I mean it only sounds like the same thing they always say when the forums get in an uproar. This time they really really mean it.

Thread's been an interesting read. I sure hope those dates are met.

Too be honest I was half expecting this.

Sounds like the pitch I was given to buy into Phoenix or before that when they implied that UI2.0 was going to come with the August release, they are asking us for faith when they have given us nothing buy excuses for their lack of development. I hope for their sake that they give us what they promise on the time line they promise because at this point there won't be player by the time The clan invasion happens.

honestly I am going to hold him to it and see what changes. Everyone gets a chance but I am still not going to spend any more money until I see results.

Those dates means nothing.
We have seen dates before.
If 18 engineers are not enough
LET SOME MUPPETS FROM THE "HERO-MECH-AND-SKIN-DEPARTMENT" GO, AND HIRE MORE ENGINEERS.

"everyone reading this knows somebody with a $20,000 collection of Magic the gathering cards and single cards worth huge amounts."

oh really?

The real fun part of that statement, is that you can OWN and SELL your "Magic the Gathering" cards... unlike these "collector" mechs.

Would be interesting if anyone can confirm whether or not the PGI/Microsoft extended agreement statement is for real? Doesn't mean diddly probably as far as life expectancy but I am curious.

P.S. I refuse to give any more money on this game until I see all the previous failed promises implemented. Give me a complete game, I'll break out the credit card and sleep in the dog house. But not before.

P.S.S I think it's all a bunch of horse dung hype myself.

I hear you buddy but at this point what else can we do? I am not going to spend anymore money until I see results so might as well watch this play out.
