Hi I cant use the new bonus modules it say's locked I have the masakari package. not inserted yet or a bug?

Mine haven't even shown up in my inventory I assumed they would be there, and stayed locked until the GXP was spent on the skills but nope..lol..I suppose its another support ticket time ...

As how they're injected into the games seems absent from FAQ's got the silly noise makers though ;)

I bought a La carte of Dire Wolf befor release of the clans, than I bought Thor collection, so It's pointless to upgrade further because i will not get anything for D-wolf and it's mean i just waste 55 $, am I right?

Contact Support, explain your situation and what you would like to do, to see what can be done about your situation.

It sounds like you need to check with Support to resolve your issue.

And here's what I've seen about the Injection Script.

Clan Collections - Faq

Quote

Q: I just purchased, where is my Clan Collection?
A: Your Clan Collection will be delivered at the next available injection occurring each business day starting at 4PM PDT / 7PM EDT / 11PM UTC. The delivery script may take several hours to run over all affected accounts, so we appreciate your patience as it runs. If you purchased after the indicated time, your collection will be delivered with the next injection the following day, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Ta Pred,

I thought I might as the injection left me a warH and a twolf short, I didn't think to look for the modules until a few days later.

I think it got all confused as I bought the package in stages, so off to support I go

Do the $500 mechs at least come with a gold plated miniture to justify that kind of cost?

You are right. I could not believe my eyes when I saw they wanted $500 (real bucks) for the clan mech packs. That is NUTS!! I think back to my introduction to MechWarriors on CD disk --- the entire game was about $35 and you got everything forever. But eventually there were add on packs, they cost about $18 each and you got all new gameplay and new stuff. The pricing structure at MWO is out of this world NUTS. But good for them if they can get some people to pay it. Not me. Not ever -- just on principle alone --- the prices are just too insane.

I hope PGI is still monitoring this thread because I have a suggestion or two regarding the Clan Mechs.

1) Buff the Summoner. Since the recent nerfs, the Summoner is really suffering. Regardless of how I kit them out, I consistently find them to be underwhelming. My Kit Foxes are capable of matching them in terms of firepower, rendering the Summoner to be fairly pointless. I would like to see its JJs unlocked so that more tonnage can be devoted to weapons and ammo, making it more useful and entertaining to pilot. Some positive quirks would also go a long way towards restoring this Mech.

2) Buff the Nova. Though still better than the Summoner and a viable Mech, the Nova was hit hard by the recent nerfs and is very difficult to use now. It could really use a JJ unlock and/or a positive heat dissipation quirk.

In short, two of the eight Mechs in the Clan Package have been rendered useless or largely impotent, even compared to IS chassis. There are IS Meds and Lights that can outperform these two Mechs, yet the Nova and Summoner are supposed to be superior to their IS counterparts. There is no real reason to purchase either Mech now when one could purchase better Clan Mechs instead. If you already own them, like I do, then you feel like PGI has yanked the carpet out from under your feet and that your money is wasted.

When they say you won't get a social reward if you order past June 7th, what does that mean? No badge?

I'm idly curious:

Did folks who ordered a Gold Khan collection get both the Prime(G) and the Prime(I) for their selected golden destruction machine (got a 25th 'mech)? Or did the (G) overwrite the (I) for that one mech (only 24)?

I believe the Gold Mech was in addition to, rather than in place of, its Invasion equivalent.

I know you guys have to make money and all, so while you read this, keep in mind I'm not really judging you guys for your pricing of the packages. I think its fair, given that you said that the target demographic was twenty to forty-something year old male with disposable income.

I'm not part of that twenty to forty-something year old male with disposable income demographic, the most relevant in this instance being the "disposable income" part. I don't have much of it, but I've got enough that I could spend some every month. For me, a package deal like this is me choosing the package over a few months of Mech Credits. Mech Credits or the Package, and honestly, the Packages seems like a pretty good deal... but its still a little too rich for my blood. You can see that I bought the Phoenix Overlord package. The reason for that - you priced it at $20 a tier instead of $30, meaning at $60 I got three chassis instead of just two (which is an extra two or three weeks worth of gameplay for me). I went Overlord, because once at the Overlord tier, I got an extra month of premium time, which has a value of about $10-$14, which I usually buy anyways, so getting the Battlemasters at that point was only $6. The more I spend, the more you make it worthwhile, I appreciate it, as I'm sure that others do to. If that wasn't there though, I would've stopped at the third tier for the Thunderbolt.

Now you know my reasoning behind how I went so far with Phoenix. I got my money's worth, I'm quite happy. I didn't get any of the Clan packages though, because they're literally 50% more expensive per tier. I can't even get three mechs for the Clan packages that I could get four mechs for with the Phoenix package. Two of my favourite Clan mechs are tier 3 and 4 in Wave One, and if they were priced $20 a piece, I would've pounced on it, even without the bonus premium time attached to it. In Wave Two, you have my favourite Clan Mech at $90, which, again, is really steep for me. The a la carte packages are $55 for three mechs. Its really offputting. I can understand the pricing, and I don't begrudge you for it, but for these two clanpackages it was just a bit too steep for me. I'd like to see that in future IS packages that its $20 a tier, and that the Clan packages were just marked so high because the chassis themselves are more costly in game, and while I'm not going to throw a hissy fit or anything, I'd be really disappointed if they were as steep for a single tier as the Clan packages were, but more relevant to yourselves, I won't be buying the packages. I don't know the numbers behind all of the package sales, so maybe you're making more selling higher to less people than selling lower to more people, and again, I'm not begrudging you if thats the case, but if you don't know the numbers, I'm just pointing out that there's at least one player who would put down cash, $80 and more, if the packages were less costly.

I wholeheartedly agree MarsAtlas.

Also it's also a proven fact that you don't need expensive Micro transactions to be a success, unless you really don't want people to have things.

It' scares away people, if _anything_ looks to give an edge, then prices should be lower, and all manners of "beautification" / "Alterations" that has _no_ game effect - should be substantially lower.

If it's about Uniqueness (You want' only a handful of people to "have" this mech) then you're doing it right, undfortately you're also at the same time doing it wrong..
If it's about "earning a buck" you're doing it wrong, as it's proven time and time again with other games (e.g LOL,), that lowering the prices of MT's makes people of all groups want to buy more.

Just my penny anyway, - I did buy the 55$ Timber Wolf, as it's always been "my mech" (in the roleplaying game) so I wouldn't live without it. but color schemes and such for it, costs 20$ more(???!!) if I want to have it outfitter and not look like the other drones.

But I love that your game is getting better form back when I tried it last (some time after launch) and I hope to spend more time here. I just wish you made it look like you wanted to attract people to the game, not scare them away - some times.

Anyway looking forward unto the Warfare Module. :)

Best Regards
Tallens

Bought the Founder package. Played for a couple of hours. Was unimpressed and haven't touched it for 2 years. Tried again last couple of days, still unimpressed. I'll take MW4 over this any day. No lobby with choice of maps? $500 mechs lol. Won't support this business model.

5 posts but been around since Mechwarrior 2. Loved the Mechwarrior 3 campaign. Loved the Mechwarrior 4 multiplayer.

Was looking forward to this title for years hence the Founder's package. I'll give it some more time, but this free-to-play model is for soccer moms playing Candy Crush. Has no business for a sim type game. I play some driving sims too and this is what Simbin pulled or at least tried to with their latest title (Race Room 3 Experience)...surprise surprise they went bankrupt. Pure greed to ask for $500 per gold mech and $250 for some ridiculous packages, and I am neither cheap nor lacking in funds.

or maybe don't hold it up against the other games and realize it is a different game?

Sounds like you didn't really put in any time anyway....founder or not.

True. I have not put in the time. I thought I might jump in again but I'm simply not a fan of this business model, and I don't think I can support it further. I feel sorry for those who really like the game, you must have had to spend so much.
