Competitive? The only viable mech in Phoenix package so far is just the Shadowhawk.

Wolverine is going to have an insanely oversized legs which will get blown clean off real easy and the Griffin will be a 5 ton lighter quickdraw judging by the pictures released.

Your clan invasion comes with several mechs which we do not know how the hardpoint placements are (high enough or not), how the models are and whether they are JJ enabled. If they don't meet those points and game balance doesn't get fixed, it's a waste of time.

Yea I'm not spending **** until I get a game with more than one mode of play. Foole me once, fool me twice. I'll stick to being a freebie player form here on out

Clan mech prices, wow just wow! Taking acid at work isn't a good thing i see.

PS. This is just a monty sketch now, i just can't take PGI seriously from now on, its like listening to the insane rabblings of a junkie.

You make me sad. Buying something so grossly overpriced is what's causing PGI to ignore gameplay improvements in favour of heavily-monetized packages. As long as people pay quadruple the price of a retail game for content that will need months of grinding to be competitive, PGI will continue to put actual improvements on the backburner, because obviously making the game itself better doesn't yield nearly the rewards that just making new models does.

Please stop telling PGI to not bother with actually improving the game.

If you're complaining about PGI offering a $500 package, then what do you think about these guys? :)

Well you set your own deadline now pgi. Better sort out UI2.0 and CW by June 17th or all hell is gonna break lose.

Only really interested in the lights and possibly the mediums and since your packages go 1light, 1L1M, 1L1M1H, 1L1M1H1A then 2L 1M 1H 1H instead of weight wise aka 2 lights in a package I think ill avoid the bonuses and just buy mechbays (If im still around in 6months that is)

But the money grab is silly when the game is in shambles.

Not really concerned about the prices. They're a better deal than founders was. I'm concerned that they're doing a huge money grab without putting out ANY f'ing game features

As one of the game's "Founders" I am perpetually reminded that money is the 'capitol' objective. I think the clans are awesome. However, when I paid 60 bucks for the FREE game to see it launched, that is what I did. Pay in hopes to see it launched.

What I did NOT pay to see was the game live in beta and push content releases before it is even launched. This game has to feature the most paid content IN A ******* BETA game ever! These content packages would be acceptable AFTER the game launched, and PGI delivered on the promises they issued when I backed the game as a founder originally.

I love clans. However, to see it come out BEFORE features that were talked about back in the closed beta/founder days is discouraging me to spend another dime and I am not the only person to feel this way.

PGI is sitting on an amazing title and while it is "Fun, easy and profitable" to release new mech chassis the core game-play needs to be addressed and the game launched before they continue to work on details.

It's like if a car company put a {Scrap} ton of details into the interior or steering wheel but paid little attention to the engine, and axle.

Please take care of the large issues first. My computer science professor once said to me, "its a simple problem. Let this jar represent life, and the rocks your problems needing to be solved. If you have a few large rocks, and a lot of tiny rocks, but you fill the jar with the tiny rocks first, there will be no room for the large rocks. However if you put the large rocks in first the tiny rocks can still fit by filling in the gaps between them"

PGI is putting in the tiny rocks first.

Exactly, yet RSI can do no wrong. Prices are relative. My overtime just this weekend will pay for the highest tier and one gold mech. Highest tier: bought. Can't decide which gold mech, though.

You only get one gold mech for 500 dollars. Your looking at $740 dollars to be the pimp mack daddy of the clans. That just ridicules. That's the same price as a new computer.

The life expectancy of a online first person shooter game is 5 years max. Were in what year 3.

500$ X 8... + 240... if you want to catch them all... If anyone buys the Gold mechs... know that your completely ruining the FTP money balance for everyone else who wants to have PGI change their prices to something more reasonable.

Just Wow... At last.. etc etc yada yada.

Oh wait I have never been much of a Clanner so NO SALE here. Oh maybe if they release cbull versions I may but NO CASH Purchases regardless of clan tech.

Interesting move PGI right before Christmas as we have all spent our money and before we have thoughts of the January sales. Be interested to see how you fair and glgf and all that but frankly I just laughed like a drain at the hoopla.

C'mon paint a bright GOLD target on yourself for $500 and be the subject of envy/troll rage on the battlefield ye gods.. lets not get into the fact the clans have (as I understand it) a plain Spartan utilitarian approach to life. So many ways to fail the IP rolled into one entry! Impressive!

Please come and give us a GAME beyond Mech Skirmish Online before you can seriously tempt cash out us! If you need the money (please don't let the nay sayers be right about that!) You could have got some from me just for the asking if you had a genuine need, but I want a better GAME not a bright shiny.

Amen to that, CW, UI2.0 and more game modes better be here first.

I spend plenty of money on digital game content, MW:O is one of many. I have good Idea of what to expect to pay for entertainment online. These prices made m put my card back into my wallet. That alone says a lot considering I spend a ton of money on games every week. I'm still a bit shocked over the gross amount of greed. Is this some kind of joke? I'm sorry, this game is fun, but it's not the best nor great enough to justify being the all time most expensive game I've ever invested in... So I'm really turned off on he whole spending moneys on mw:o at this moment. Great potential here, hope they finish it soon (add content).

Clan tech at these prices will disappoint and disband many diehard MechWarrior's in this economy that can not afford to invest that kind of cash on any game. Despicable pay to win marketing tactics. Very disappointed. Guess I'm going back to table top.

make valid points. P2W isn'te ven remotely valid. If you leave because others buy clan packs you're fooling yourself. Stop complaining about the wrong things. Complain abotu the face that we don't ahve an f'ing finished game yet

May I suggest a boycott on these purchases? Clans unite, no buyers, no sale.
