Better start playing a serious amount of matches to buy all the clan mechs with c-bills.!
I've managed 4984 matches and 487,949,150.08 cbills since january this year.!
42 mechs so far, and I'm pretty broke. At this point I will be looking forward to battling clan mechs rather then collecting more mechs.
Edit;
4202 matches @ average 8 min per match = 560 Hours of "grind" !! or 23 Days straight of playing! HA!
Edit2;
5676 Matches
63 Mechs
Still broke.

That's making the clan packs look more reasonable.
Of course i suck at maths so welcome any correction.

Yes, the Clan equipment is expensive as far as table top goes, but I don't think we'll be forced to grind out that much money in order to get all our beloved Clan toys. I bet the devs will tweak the prices as they see fit so that players won't be turned away from a 4000 game grind to get the equivalent of the Warhawk pack.

After all, they're really intent on nerfing clan gear

Edit: I'll just do it.
Kit Fox: around 16 mil
Nova: around 34 mil
Summoner: around 64 mil
Dire Wolf: around 88 mil
Adder: around 21 mil
Stormcrow: around 45 mil
Timber Wolf: around 72 mil
Warhawk: around 80 mil
There's a lot of grind right there, very expensive Clan tech.

I have plenty of time to play MWO and to be honest I dropped $ for overlord+saber bcuz I knew what I am paying for but I do not wish to buy Clan mech pack bcuz I can not switch engines and armor on those mechs so I guess I buy them for c-bills .

Likely it will release the same way the Phoenix pack did, first mech at launch then one mech every month from there on.
That would make the Assault Clan mechs early 2015 as you say.

LOL no ... I expect that if anything PGI will make the cbill grind worse so as to encourage folks to buy MC to buy the mechs if they haven't bought the package. Since release, PGI has not once (in my recollection) made the game easier to earn mechs.

2) My guess of the release schedule is 4 in June (one of each class) and the next 4 1 per month. Which would make it Sept for the Timberwolf.

I agree with this. I think it would be kind of weird if there was only one chassis type of Clan 'mech available for a month. Poor lonely Clanner

Lol...you know they reduced the CB generation already...right? If they tweak it, it will be to lower it more...they are moving to $$ only for mechs here.

The phoenix package(minus sabre), was nice because I got a lot of different equipment to outfit each mech with. Part of what disappoints me with the clan packages is that I cant take the Clan FF/Endo Steel and XL engines and plug them into my Boars head, Heavy Metal, or D-DC atlas.
I want to use the clan equipment in my IS mech just like I did back in MW2:mercs. I want my atlas to go head 2 head with a daishi, both fully clanned out...and kick the $h!t out of the pure clanner.
Why cant I have that? why must clan equpiment be tied to the center torso of the mech?

Because clan equipment is balanced against omnimech disadvantages.
You said yourself, a clanned out Atlas would beat a Daishi.
That's why!
