The "Throne" Iothil speaks of is his lavatory. Rather than a conventional ball valve system, the flush button pokes MarineTech on the head, signalling him to pour a bucket of water out. Iothil has experimented with many different lavatory operators, but so far only Marine has met his exacting standards.

Sparks Murphy was once turned down for the position of pepper grinder at a posh restaurant. He was judged to be overly enthusiastic about the position and kept trying to sneak freshly ground pepper into peoples beverages, desserts, and on the customers themselves.
