That absolutely amazing feeling when you solo drop into an ANY match, join in with 11 other PUGs, and command them to victory....all while being in a 12 Jumpjet Spider. Which just happened. We won 12 kills to 3 of ours being killed.

Oh yes....I love you PUGs....you magnificent ********. You all make this game possible.

You solo drop over and over and over again. You lose. You win. You have fun. Fists are shaken and cheers are cheered. You guys all keep this game alive. Remember that.

Don't listen to those who have been into MW/BT since it first came out and call themselves the exclusive core audience. The core audience in reality is everyone who plays this game. Yes, that is right. Everyone. This is coming from someone who has been playing MW since he was only 10.

Everyone makes this game work. Some people contribute by buying MC, others by buying packages, and others simply populate the servers so everyone can find a match. You all rock and I always look forwards to playing with you guys.

Now, if any PUGs out there want in on a group that I currently run, please PM me. We don't care about skill honestly. We have veteran and new players and we all get along great. We have our own website, a teamspeak area for us to talk and drop together on. All we honestly care about is if you are friendly, work well with others, and have common sense. That is all we really care about. If you're fresh off the boat, or greener than grass, it does not matter.

I enjoy playing with you PUGs so much, that I am opening recruiting to everyone. Young or old, boy or girl, newbie or vet. We currently have 6-8 members and are welcoming all. All we ask is that you meet the very easy to meet requirements mentioned above and that you are joining with good intentions.

I know this started out as a feedback on my last match and how I love PUGs, but I realized that you are all absolutely fantastic, and you know what? So was I. So I want to get to know you all more, so go ahead and PM me for further details ;)

Thank you Sword of Morning. I was just so happy that PUGs can work together if someone knows how to lead, that I wanted to share it with everyone :D

EDIT: Your first post :D congrats!

I know the feeling, OP. Spider is great for getting eyes on your enemies, so it's a great command mech! We don't need no firepower!

Nice thread! I have done very well this weekend and yesterday ELO rewarded me by putting me in an good team against a equal good team of PUGs/premade 4-mans on Frozen City Night. I scouted with my spider and the LRM-boats/jumpersnipers fired at the target I picked, I dropped an UAV which was taken down in seconds, both teams stayed together and flanked together and it all ended in a great brawl. Sometimes it just happens!

ROFL....icecream is good year-round.

If you really need something to kill the taste of troll though, you should try pepperoni, the little kick from the spice does wonders, and it is even better on pizza....

Glad to see a friendly thread every so often.

if you think troll is bad, you should try ogre....

I would quite literally kill for some snow right now.

OP, glad you found a use for the pugs besides meat shields!

Jokes aside, they do deserve more recognition than they get. When the planets align they're a force to be reckoned with. Good on you for putting this out there!

Ogre.... really depends on the breed - IE I wouldn't eat the one's Ulath (David Eddings character for those who do not know) fights for all the pepperoni in the galaxy.
The ones from that book-who's-name-I-can-never-remember from the grade school I used to help out at (fixin books! woohoo!) however... pretty sure they tasted like rainbows. (It was one of those books you had to see to believe)

Ice cream is best when it is snowin outside, and you are curled up by the fire.
In my experience of course - I tend to visit the relatives in the lower 48 during their winters, and they look at me funny when I bring the topic of icecream up, so I have little idea of what it would be like down there where it is warmer.
(note: there are several places in the lower 48 colder on average than the average part of Alaska - weird huh?)

Its 39 degrees Celsius currently, or 102.2 Fahrenheit. Coldest day we've had all week.

That's..... pretty hot.
Have some Icecream.
Better eat it before it melts!

No idea what the temp is here, but it is warm enough to snow.
(height of "Global Warming" and we were to cold to snow)

I've had this one time where I've led a group to victory not too long ago.

It was in the Alpine, & we dropped at the south end. I, of course was in the Charlie Lance, but as a part of the group was at a hill overlooking the east side of the mountain, I, in my 5S, moved forward, hugging the face of the mountain. There was no contact to be had, but soon, I noticed that the said group that I'm with was gawking around behind me. I wasn't happy with them, so I yelled in the team chat, "What are you guys standing around for?! Move!!"

& sure enough, I was leading the group up the face of the mountain. As soon as we got up there there was only one lonely enemy Centurion up there. He was dead in less than a minute. Soon after ward, as we advanced to the summit, we've found the rest of the enemy group. I ordered them to move in for the attack, & sure enough, they were in a perfect line, opening up at the enemy group. Of course, I was doing the same thing as well to any enemy that was priority, namely the DDCs.

The result is a near stomp for us - we only lost one guy, though they has a disconnect & a teamkill on them as well. But still, it's nice for PUGs to actually perform competently for a change. Sometimes, they just need a little discipline...

Absolutely. If you want to get all medical and psychologist in here, deep down in our subconscious, we all feel lost and long for leadership or rule. Most people in life have the skills needed to succeed, and just need a friend to give them a push in the right direction. Same thing goes for MWO.

What....what happened? This....is why we can't have nice things. Also, I will forgive you if you share pizza with me.
