Commandos run out of ammo pretty quickly.

TDK is lols though, needs a cooling quirk because it gets hot if you are busy.

Commandos are the mechs you drive if you think locusts are too easy.

It's the old Fireball wizard build.

Back in closed beta, that was a thing. Get the whole enemy team to try and chase you, while you're lobbing Fireballs at them at 800+ meters. One of the badges in my sig is actually a reference to that.

Quote

Order of the Trollmando
Awarded to anyone who's seen a lance of assault mechs stumble around in confusion as a Commando with LRM5's wreaks havoc from afar, like some kind of fireball-throwing wizard.

PS: It's the one with yellow on the outside, followed by red, and green in the center.

It was more the Artemis.
You just don't have the weight for it on a Com.

ALL locusts are the best locusts...

Some are just more best than others.

dunno....I elited that one out so easily it was amazing.
its tougher than a lot of mediums.
I can't believe the tiny armor, tiny alpha tiny everthing just stomps the way it does...IF my peanut butter did half as well, I'd have kept it!

Technically, your tiny locust has enough quirks to make it tankier than a firestarter. So now you have the goodness of a locust, with less chance of split second death.

IW, did you get one? (buy/win)
Mines clipping along at warp speeds and just pummels. I'm loving it more than any of the..what, four? I maxed out.
My best was standing in front of an atlas blasting something, atlas shooting over my head, lol, he did keep kicking me however...the bstard.....

Not yet. Probably buying it in August, since I'm giving a friend of mine a gift mech as well. Figure I do both at the same time. Which would give me enough time to actually master my novas and Summoners (I just realized I only basic'd them out, before I got distracted by the DWF, locusts, and other mechs.)

I favour 86 myself.
Nice that we've finally got the slider though.

Yeah, I am probably going to end up in the 80-85 range since it seems a little more universal 90 is awful in a commando :P

Had quite the streak of legging myself yesterday....gotta be more careful in the paths I take in pursuit of other mechs...

#Apexpredatorproblems.

LMFAO! Iraqi, that had me in stitches!

Bullet, try running shock absorbance AND hill climb modules. I ditched radar dep and run shock, hill climb, and seismic. You can see what's on the other side of the cover you're hiding behind, then run up mountains, jump off many small hills (still no cliff diving), and surprise the heck out of people (especially when you run up candy mountain (alpine central hill) from the J line side.

If we wanted it easy we would all be piloting Firestarters and stormcrows. ;)
