I begin to think the test server is actually one of the artists work machines.

If they left it up too long, production of the next hero mech would be delayed.

So there is no way to make it so the public test version uses or copies the game files I already have and just patches them instead of having to download 4gigs of a game that's already on my drive? ;)

First spin with the new UI.

It looks nice, but is shamelessly designed for console controllers. Obviously none of the mech lab feedback was anything but noise.

Yea, I hate to agree... it looks amazing, but the first thing i thought of was "This looks like an Xbox menu"

Also, try finding you're modules that are equipped on a mech (but you cant remember which one)... it take 3 times as long.

I was watching Homeless Bill's stream of the UI test... the sound when you scroll over any box has a sound, which needs an option to be muted If one so chooses.

Also, the biggest thing for me was when you are using the list on the left side of the screen, and then using the list on the far right side of the screen when editing a 'Mech, you have to scroll far left, and right, and left, and right... that should definitely be fixed, as Its kind of annoying.

Overall though I was quite impressed this time, happy to see lots of things were fixed and less buggy. Can't wait to play with the UI myself when Its released. Scrolling through so many 'Mechs on a single line is killer lol

It looks like we still cant rename our mechs... Either that or the way to do it is too many clicks and I haven't found out the PGI code to do it (Konami Code) or it doesnt exsist.
