With current net code what you see isn't what happens.... You need to check the enemy status on right top of your monitor.

Same behavior with CICADA....

It's not just spiders this happens to, i've fired AC's at assaults and had no damage registered from 50m away. People need to stop claiming that it's only spiders that have this issue. Most of the time it's because people fail to lead light 'mechs correctly and it's only their own aiming to blame.

After losing a leg and killing a coupIe of mechs I hugged a Cataphract yesterday and killed it, other matches I did the same thing to a Thunderbolt, an Atlas, several Kintaros, some as I had one leg, some I had both legs. I killed a 3-LBX-10 Cataphract on that Moon map up top..

These were all late in the match after I had already been harrassing and sometimes killing the enemy.
I don't think it would have happened when all those mechs were still full 100% health, but I did notice that a lot of enemy fire was just not hurting me much at all. I was even point blanked by a guy with and AC20 and It didn't even registers as a hit.

I really do think the spider is still bugged, no pun intended. It was quite amusing to see one spider run in circles around a group of 8 heavy mechs all shooting at him and hitting until he finally died a minute later. Any other light mech would be shredded in seconds.

I've noticed this happen on all types of mechs at point blank. If you only notice it on spiders then you're only looking for it on spiders. If you really watch carefully, you'll be stunned when a massive atlas in right in front of you and the hits don't register.

PS. I'm not a spider pilot because my ping makes them unusable.

I hope someone gets the person who did this and slowly burns them to death with a lighter.
Interesting how everyone has been convinced that humans should be protected while everything else can be tortured.

Lemme clarify, people think that people who fit in a particular category should be protected ;)

2nd clarification - I'm not against anything being killed but I do like the eye for an eye ideal. Torture is horrid no matter what it is done to so torture should be given to those who torture. I did specify torture in my comment.

Do you condone torturing people?

I'm not a spider pilot because my ping is so high that no-one would ever be able to hit me, and I'd have a ridiculous unfair advantage.

Wow, you must be awesome ;)

So, tell me, how do you eliminate the horrible rubberbanding effect that happens every time you run past a group of enemy mechs using missiles?
