anyone wishing to grind battlemasters who has a resonable elo in assaults should know the following.
Because of tryhards and meta players whining; the match making around their elo bracket has been relaxed, they are now running their PPC and AC5 Victors, Highlanders and will be present in most of your games taking advantage or poor matchmaking and getting easy kills, because IMO they are too lazy to try anything else that might be challenging.

Not quite. With Saber mechs in February and March we still have April and May before June. I hope for Flea, though PGI's mention of "controversial light mech" makes me afraid that they've decided to throw Urbie to fanbois instead.

I fear here will be only Hero varians in April and May.

I understand that for Copyright reasons there will be no Warhammer (70tons) or Phoenix Hawk (45 tons). But the Uziel (55 Tons)? Flea (20 tons)? Wolfhound (35 tons)? Annihilator and Stone Rhino (both 100 tons)?

Clans are arriving. And I already took the 2 heavy "a la carte".

You could always do it with the prime variant.

BLR-1G

Or where ever you want to put the armor/ammo/ppcs.

Edit: Well 1D as well.

Yup - I have not uninstalled because I am giving them a chance. At roughly 3000+ matches and a year of on and off play, I a praying to the mech gods to get their digital arses I gear and deliver the core content they promised so many times. We want results for the $$$$$$$ we have paid into tis game.

I have spent more on this game than any other in my life. I am CHEAP, but I luv mecha, so I funded this since beta. I WANT RESULTS!!!

Urbie Hero = Instant Sale.

I have to keep telling people this....

With the way the Mechlab currently works in 1.5 and in the 2.0 tests, the Urbanmech is literally impossible. The Urbie uses a 60-rating engine, and the lowest the Mechlab is capable of going is 100. If they want to make the Urbanmech in MWO, they need to completely redo the way engines and the mandatory ten base heat sinks interact, otherwise it's literally impossible.

Worse, going by the way engine rating maximum allowances appear to be set, the maximum engine rating for an UM would -still- be sub-100, and thus no variants would be possible either.

Despite the fact it's only useful for making very slow light 'mechs that nobody wants aside from the Urbanmech anyways?

that nobody wants

Panther would like to disagree with you - keep in mind you are flinging a lot of generalizations around.

I am not saying you are wrong - but you are trying to speak for a lot of people with that sentence there.

As for slow lights? They are VERY viable, maybe not in the competitive 12 mans (which have the creativity of a dead skunk BTW) but in the PuG, and will only get more viable when/if stronger weight limits come in.

if i could get a thug, ceasar, or cyclops i would be so happy.
urbie would be fun and no doubt sell like hot cakes, but i'm sure i would regret it just like i regret the golden boy and pretty baby

Meh didn't like any of the pheonix mechs, mostly easy to hit mechs, I have done so much better with the regular assault mechs like atlas and highlander, and the speedy mechs like spider and cicada. I have sold all of the cbill phenix mechs out of boredom with them.

I am also with the nope crowd though have been playing again after uninstalling over frustrations with how the game is balanced right now, I dont play nearly as often anymore, and haven't spent any money for quite some time and wont till cw is out and the clan mechs are balanced and fun to use.

Panther uses a 140 engine, that's not under 100. I was speaking strictly of sub-100 rating engines, which is what the Mechlab won't allow.

I'm -quite- happy with slower lights myself, but nobody has demonstrated any desire for a 20-tonner that goes under 80 KPH ( <100-rating engine) anywhere that I can hear/see and I really doubt anyone's interested in a 30 KPH 'mech (35-tonner with a 70-rating engine). With the exception of the Urbanmech, of course, but that's really kind of a joke/mascot thing and not actually related to real performance expectations.

Why another 35 ton mech? We really kinda need another 25 and 30 ton as well as the Flea.

While off topic, it's controversial (flamers), it's a match against the Jenner, and it seems like it could be good.

As of right now, I think potentially: Firestarter, Urbanmech, Flea, Panther, Wolfhound, Javelin, Mongoose, and I think that's it.

Thanks for the cockpit hitbox pics though Koniving! ;)
