Meh, I just buy the one time use camos. Unless you're going to be doing a bunch of constant camo switching, it's far more economical.

If you've already purchased the MC, they already have your money, even if you haven't spent it in game.

Thanks Captain. I didn't realize that.

Next time though, consider the fact I might have been saving these since a very long time, and stopped pouring money on useless colours, camos and heroes. So while it's money I spent, technically I'm not supporting this promotional blabber.

I can understand the pricing for mechs, but the prices for colors/patterns that are locked to a single mech seem outrageous to me. Maybe charge a little more and make them work on all the mechs?

In the Patch feedback section (there's like 10 links in this thread already). In theory eventually they'll make one here too.

Colors are unlocked for ALL mechs. The camos are priced in two tiers. The more expensive camo unlocks unlimited uses on the entire chassis you bought it for (for all 3 variants of the Battlemaster, for example), whereas the cheaper one use option is only on the specific variant you purchased it for (for example, just the Battlemaster 1G) until such time as you change the pattern (color changes are okay though).

What this means basically is that if you just want to slap a pattern on a mech and don't plan on changing it around a bunch, buy a one time use. They're priced at about 1/10 the cost of the unlimited pattern, so you can buy 10 patterns for different mechs instead of just one pattern for a chassis (which can be anywhere from 3-6 variants depending on the chassis). That's how I got camo on so many of my mechs, and it's not really expensive at all. Buy your colors on sale too and you use can just play around with the color palettes if you want a change on a particular mech you've already bought a pattern for.
