Read the patch notes. There's several changes and fixes, and UI2.0 is still on the roadmap for the next patch (Feb 4th)

Quit crying and go read the full patch notes. It is a small patch, but there is more than just the Battlemaster and camo.

Where are the patch notes? I can't find them. Probably user error, but hey, I'm the paying customer here
Ummm its been the same way since ... oh I dunno click Game at the top of your screen when viewing the forum. From there at the top you should see a link that says patch notes, If you do not see it click Game again at the top.

You can use Quarentine for Dunkelgelb for the time beeing. I did a WWII Panzer inspired camo with the woodland pattern:

The default camo will highlight your CT if you use 2 or more different tone colours.
^this! I absolutely agree with you that we should be able to put camo patterns on Founder/Hero and Phoenix mechs.
In fact I'm looking for some help for my request on paint/camo options for Founder/Hero/Phoenix and probably soon to be Clan Prime mechs. I also would like to put camouflage patterns I earned in CW on those Mechs if I play together within a unit. So if you think the same please post in the thread:

The more people we can gather, the better the chances PGI will listen to us. We also got a response to a support ticket telling us to articulate this matter in the forum. So what are we waiting for? Tell PGI and spread the word!
Edit: GZ #1000 post!

That was Battlemaster 1S btw.
Having the option to switch up Founder/Hero/Phoenix mechs' camo would be nice, but I will probably want to retain the unique camo on mine. The very least, PGI gets to open up a new revenue opportunity to sell camo to own of these mechs.
I like the Phoenix camo on the Battlemaster though, not so much for the Tbolt and hawk.

Will never spend a penny on something like the color of a mech. It's not like your enemies are gonna stop shooting you to look at the color of your mech, and only morons use 3pv just so they can see their mech pattern kinda makes it pointless.

It's a cosmetic thing. Just like most games today. The Secret World, you can buy outfits to change your look. Same with Guild Wars 2. Defiance. Even Call of Duty Ghosts now has 1 or 2 outfits for sale.

Yep. And there are some basic colors that you can purchase for CBills that, while not extensive, will give you some customization options for your mechs. They're a bit pricey at 1.25 million CBills a pop IIRC, but it's something you can get without paying real money.
The colors, BTW, are basic blue, purple, red and orange. Combined with the basic green that you start with, that gives you 5 colors that you can play around with on your mech without spending a dime of real money.
Edit: Also, for real, don't buy colors that aren't on sale. They regularly have 50% off sales that make their prices much more reasonable, and if you just waste a few weeks you'll have plenty of opportunities at colors that you might want. Be careful about the custom camo colors as well, since some of those are barely any different than colors that you can get elsewhere for cheaper... *shakes fist at Buccaneer Black*

Price-point optimisation can be a difficult problem to get right. If reducing the price of an item by X doesn't cause at least Y additional people to buy it, then you lose money. Etc.
I've read some analysis articles about F2P games that say it's actually quite difficult to "convert" free players into paying players, and that reducing the regular cost of items isn't usually very effective. Getting a player to take the plunge and enter their credit card details for the first time requires some sort of "push". Having regular sales provides that "push". People are motivated to buy in now, while the thing they want is on sale.
In contrast, permanently reducing the price of in-game items carries a greater risk of annoying people who already bought them at the higher price. A sale sends the message "This is a cool deal we're offering you!", whereas a permanent discount sends the message, "We were totally ripping you off before!"
Once people have "bought in", the evidence is that they become less price-sensitive. They've already got over the barrier of actually entering their credit card details and parting with some money. At that point, each player will find their "level": the amount of money they're happy to spend on the game. If items are cheaper, they'll buy more of them. If items are more expensive, they'll buy less of them. Since they're digital items with no per-unit cost, the company is free to set the price point where they like. And if the player is likely to spend the same amount of money regardless, the only problem the company needs to worry about is the player running out of things to buy, which will happen faster if the items are cheaper.
Personally, I'm a lot happier when these sorts of shenanigans are happening around cosmetic items, rather than things that affect gameplay.

Money. I love running my hero mechs but why should I buy a camo pattern if I can't put it on the mechs I love to run.
