i am going to sell almost all of my mechs for clan.

What if they actually give the Clans a different currency?

Honestly i would like to have Honor points which cannot be obtained by converting c-bills or something else so everyone who joins the Clans will start from scrap instead of having the rich veterans buying each 'Mech on day one.

But in this case you would trade your Honor (points) for ammo and mechs (or food)? Agree, that sounds very vulgar.
I really wonder how PGI is going to distinguish gameplay and resources management on Clans side, if they are gong to do it at all. Just imagine for a second: you have collected 1/2 of required resources for acquiring new OmniMech and have to fight a Trial of Possession against another pilot to win it. Now let return to reality: I don't believe that on June 17th there will be implemented alternative in-game currency for Clans.

Back to the topic. I'll sell every IS trash I currently own without any hesitation. I've created this account specially to play on Clans side, so no regrettable investments were done from it.

@OP:

Nope, was too much effort to get them straight. ;-)

I focused on Lights and Assault in IS-Mechs and will shift to Mediums and Heavies in Clan-Mechs:
* Stormcrow
* Ice Ferret, Viper, Shadow Cat... (I hope, PGI eventually adds them.)

I'd would have to say keep for now. I loved playing clan Mechs when I got into BattleTech at Virtual World, (who remember that?) but now MWO is the onle BattleTech/Mechwarrior experience I can get.

If the Vulture/Mad Dog or Templar showed up, I sell some to buy those.

It will depend on a few things. One, how good the Clan mechs actually turn out to be. Two, what types of game modes PGI comes up with. Hopefully, there will be reasons to keep both types of mechs.

Why sell the mechs? I mean come on, you should only be piloting Star League mechs as it is, and the clans still use that. Why get rid of a mech, when they are valuable resources. Even a battlemech is a deadly weapon in Clanners hands, Omni are even deadlier, but what if you cant play a clan mech for a tourny? That is why I am keeping mine.

I never sell mechs. All 88 still in mech bays. Unfortunately some are just collecting dust, because i dont have any reason to use them.

A trap I wish to not fall in, one because I don't want to continue purchasing mech bays for no reason at all, and two I'm not big on hoarding.

I will keep my heroes and a few that are favorites to play among the IS chassis. However, as more clan mechs come, more IS mechs will go...

I will probably free up 1 or 2 slots given I only have 4 mech bays. I've mastered several IS mechs so if I want to play them again I can just buy them and not have to worry about the EXP grind.

Stalker is still my favorite. There are numerous builds you can do with it especially with the 5S.

I'm looking forward to piloting a Daishi when its available for C-bills.

Opposite for me. I'm gonna master a Vulture, maybe the Mad Cat, and that'll be it from the first wave. Upon further reflection I'm actually not a big fan of the original Clan Omni designs, though I like their BattleMechs from (TRO) 3055 and up. I also plan to drive all the Ghost Bear homebrew 'Mechs if and when they come out.
