Keep in mind, PGI and IGP are two different things.
IGP didn't like the CN9-AH but PGI does. Thus we get this CN-9 AH back after PGI bought out IGP.
I was around in closed beta but I didn't notice the CN-9 AH (I was just getting into MW: O and I was to busy having a seizure at the awesomeness by looking at how these mechs looked better then when I first got into battle tech. that and I was using the raven a lot.)
I knew 1 was gone and AH does ring a bell but I never noticed. Dismissed it as bad memory...
I am hyped, I'm getting the AH... I kinda wished for a 1 ballistic, 4 missile until I saw it was in fact in game before and it has 3 missile, 2 ballistic. I was planning something like AC 20 + 4 SRM 2's or SSRM2's or something. But 3 SRM 2's/ SSRM 2's + AC 20 can work, Not exactly planning on using the 2nd ballistics.
But it's for the best I guess. I am hyped on getting the AH and king crab.

I mean, there's no major difference between any of the Dragon variants and, say, the Fang, but we still manage to keep it around. The flame is rather different, but the Fang is pretty mundane.
On the other hand, I'm more perplexed as to why there was never a Grand Dragon variant put out, whether a Succession Wars version or the clan invasion version with the ER PPC.. Also, the Dragon still hasn't been modified to support aesthetic changes based on loadout.
