most useless features ever, sorry. what are the scenarios in which anyone would need this?

Try to keep things positive. There's really no room for negativity like that. That's border line bully talk.

2 Questions on upcoming feature:

Sorting: Will this also affect the 'mech order in the client itself? e.g. I sort my 'mechs online on the train and when I get home to play the client has them sorted?
Hover Statistics: Would like to see more detail about the statistics, e.g. what stats and info will be included.

Looks nice though and I like the idea of tinkering with my 'mechs while I am on the train home so they are "drop ready" when I start the client.

Sorting is listed in the Upcoming Features. :D

It might be good to have a re-naming feature as well. Some of my 'mechs are not-so-safe-for-work...

Can't resist coming out of retirement to note that the Awesome is so wide that the image has to be squashed to fit properly into the owned mech preview frame.

I wish it actually looked like that.

Preview looks quite nice, and it's very functional too. Hooray usability.

edit: p.s. Kyle, I don't read the forums or r/MWO more than once a week anymore, but I do really appreciate seeing you post things around here. It's almost enough to give me hope that there will be reason to come back to the game in a few months.

Suggestions for statistics to track on a mech to mech basis:

Kill Death Ratio (Given/Current)

Win Loss Ratio (Given/Current)

Total Damage Done (Current)

Average Damage Per Match (new)

Average Match Score (new)

Average C-bill earnings per hour (new)

Total/Lifetime C-bill accumulation (new)

Length of time owned (new)

Second:

These are shown when you click on the mechs on the screen. Then a sub option opens up to use the smurfy style mech bay for the web site.

Good stuff, things like this give the game some polish - more mobile functionality would be awesome also :D

Very nice, very nice. Quick question Kyle, will you have a thing that shows a user's forum sig above in the future?

The people who work on the websites, art, and mechs are not the same people who are working on CW. They a are different department, so just be patient.

Current Features:
  • Live Display of Mech Selection
  • Live Display of Mech "In Use" Status
  • Entitlement Display (Founders, Phoenix, etc)
Known Issues:
  • Mech Icons are not all standard; some have varying heights and poses; we're aware of this and I'm working with the art team to get new ones made.
  • Some images are missing; please just find out the URL of the missing images so I can track them down if you encounter any.
Upcoming Features:
  • Profile Details
    • Edit First Name/Last Name/Country
  • Mech Display
    • Individual "In Use" Mech Status
    • Vertical Layout Similar to UI2.0
    • Sorting
    • Hover Statistics
    • Links to Mech page

Will we ever have the ability to change a Mech's name at some point?
That'd be really nice.
Some of my Mechs were named in haste, and I don't think the names suit the builds I'm using anymore.

Also, Kyle, the one working on this "fluff" , is not a backend or gameplay engineer. He has ,next to, nothing to do with the work going on with Community Warfare. Not having Kyle, or the art team work on their area of expertise does not add anything to the progression of Community Warfare and is a waste of resources.

It's very much like saying "Hey City, that's great and all that your garbage men are picking up the trash on time, but there's too much crime in the city. Can you PLLLLEEEEASE have some of those Garbage men start patrolling the streets?! It's what we really want"

But I hear ya. CW and everything thereafter can't get here soon enough.

Cheers.

You just called Kyle a garbage man. I'm pretty sure that was the worst analogy ever.

Could have said fireman being a police man... Poor Kyle deserves a better analogy.

I usually refer to this as asking your plumber to fix a light socket  But I like your analogy too.

Don't mean to mess with you man but not everyone working for PGI is a game developer. Some of them are web developers and support staff.

Champion catapult has no image.

Otherwise looks petty good.
