The word "EMBER" is a bit funny for a Mech, It's the word for "man/people/human" in the hungarian language... I wonder if they knowed it...

um an EMBER is also
1. A small, glowing piece of coal or wood, as in a dying fire.
2. embers The smoldering coal or ash of a dying fire.

cool video and I just need a little poke to fall for it...

So flamers - when I buy that thing I want to use it but can you do anything with 4 flamers? beside overheating yourself?

I am proud to say....flamers are strong as hell............ I've always used 2 flamers ..never 1...but 2! and my damage output is surprisingly high. Now you got 4 flamer+4 MG, note both weapons does crit.chance damage. Dps adds up so fast if you can keep your cross on the enemy mech. Overheating is not a problem when you can keep spraying with MGs....

After playing a bit with the Ember, I am very unhappy with the Torso pitch and yaw range. You can't really shoot anything that is not standing at the same hight as you. 15° pitch on the FS compared to 20° on all other light mechs or 25-30° on the mediums.
All other mechs are at 20° pitch (16° for Cat and Atlas).

My biggest qualm is the paint job. Is it just me, or maybe the camo paint known issue, but did anyone else notice the majority of the mech doesn't change colors. All three swatches change accent colors, and it is always a medium-dark blue color on the rest of the mech?...

Otherwise a fun little mech and while I am not doing a whole lot of damage each match yet, I am coming out with a single kill myself almost every match - that crit bonus must be better than it seems!

I noticed that as well - lots of shooting at legs....

Non-humanoids always do that better. It gives the Jenner and Raven something.

I like it. Makes up for the fact that it has such a heavy hitting weapons loadout with little heat concerns.

Annoying, yes. However...

Yes, but the there are only 3 mechs below 20°. FS with 15° and Cat/Atlas with 16°. ALL other mechs have 20 or higher degrees.

seems like 15° is a legal quirk to compensate the massive fire power! :-)

Paint it white with little black bits? Suddenly, you can't hit ANYTHING.

It's....BEAUTIFUL!

MORE FIRRREEE!

May the fiery conflagration begin!

And I probably will run: 2ML + 2 Flamers + 4 Masheenguns.

Because 2 Flamers should be good enough to make people cry on Terror Therma.

Oh trust me. It works great on Terra Therma. I run with my friend who is usually in a Heavy. On Terra Therma I get all up in someone's Kool-Aid and proceed to shut them down with flamers. He steps in and ruins their day.

A very effective tactic.
