I don't know if this was pointed out already or not, and I'm not going to read every post to find out....

But, it IS possible to see where your modules are quickly**

If you go to the 'inventory' tab on the 'home' tab, clicking on a mech shows which modules it has on it. You can rifle through them quickly this way.

** However, mechs you cannot sell (Founders, Loyalty, etc) do NOT appear on this list, and so any modules on them are effectively invisible....

This is BY NO MEANS an acceptable way for it to be designed, but it IS better than trying to rifle through all your mechs.

I'd like to see a menu where you can see ALL weapons/engines/etc, click on say, 'gauss rifle' and have a list of mechs you own you have it on. Need to find your one XL300? Click on 'engines', 'xl300' and there it is! Allowing you to un-equip it from this SAME screen. Ideally while not having to leave the mech you're working on either.

Based on the screenshots that have been put up re the new mechlab enhancements, I'd say that your wish is coming true.

Deffinitely yes. However Id suggest an even simpler option (PGI Would not have to redesign any Mechbay pictures).

Add this info into the pop-up field where you already see what quirks the mech has.
- Weapons loadout (just the list of installed weapons, not wher they are installed)
- Upgrade status (FF, ES, Artemis, DHS)
- Cockpit items
- Engine type
- Modules

This way you get the full information in one view for each specific mech on demand without any additional clutter in the Mechbay view.

...and this is a legit response/query to your post, not a tactless thread bump.

Now this is a tactless thread bump, let our voices be heard before August's patch.

I don't care for the engine being displayed, but modules yes please. Did a mock up of it when the mechlab was on the PTS.

Okay, so this has gotten much much much better with the new mechlag, img. All's that we lack is an engine size indicator. Since we've gone the route of having loadout and module information in the pane to the right as you select your mech, adding which engine is where should be pretty easy.

But I will totally say it:

Thank you PGI. :)

This is a good idea. As much as I love the fact PGI gave me a mini game to play in between matches "Find the Module- a mini game brought to you by PGI", finding modules and other info on my mechs is ridiculous.

Mmmmkay, in the latest DevVlog they used the phrase "community feedback" like five times

So on that count, what are some other ways we can backfeed the need for a handy dandy engine indicator?.

Oh! Loving the quick-spot for the modules guys! Seriously.

That would get awfully cluttered with multiple modules in place. Remember, some mechs can carry 8 of those things.
