Oxide 50% soon? I can't imagine the Ember would be on sale yet...

The Devs intend to buff the Oxide. They are considering JJ, 2 ballistic, 1 more missile, any combination.

On NGNG, Russ asked that the forums start polls to help decide that. I imagine any changes will come with a sale, and a refit of existing Oxides.

Just gotta let em know your preferences, they claimed.


*** Edit: Only Jenner I own is Sarah's because of the charity, but if Oxide gets "good," I'd reconsider.

Id have picked up a mech or two with this sale but the hotfix made the game unplayable. Evidently if you have a lot of mechs the game hangs up when you click the social button. It can take up to a minute to a minute and a half for the game to figure out I want to group or click on the ready button.

PGI if you want my money you are going to have to fix the game and make it playable.

Yeah I'll pass, done buying hero mechs just for the devs to keep changing things. Already hardly play my heavy metal and I hear they are nerfing highlanders? Ya I'll pass... Only spending MC on mechbays from now on till you guys really impress the hell out of me and it'll be awhile before I need any of those. It's a shame to cause awhile back I really wanted that firebrand, just can't see spending anymore money right now.

but but but it's only a beta.... oh wait... I feel your pain man... I have a tricked out A1 catapult I can't find a use now other then 2 LRM15's and 4 streaks just to have something to do with the damn thing. Really wish I didn't spend MC on tricking out the paint on it, it's gone from a fearsome mech to just .... minimally viable. Guess that means working as intended.

Because making 600 damage and 4 kills pays off when you got +30% credits, makes it easier to buy another 2 Jägermechs to get them mastered ..

I have this bug. My game crashes when I try to join groups and it's limited me from joining drops. It's REALLY frustrating (I pug much of the time but when my warriors get on I sometimes wish to group up (I have missed out on a few 12man drops). REALLY frustrating.

I'm getting several problem crashing out my game. I had problems with UI 1.5 but this is maddening and has made me just want to put the game down for a little bit. So very frustrating. Very very. VERY frustrating.

I run with SRMs with like 500 ping and do fine. You just want some super kill weapon but what's the point. It doesn't make up for skill.

I hope not as well. My thought on this is unless they start bundling these hero mechs with "gently used" office furniture or selling autographed PGI coffee mugs, I am not going to worry about it.

Otherwise, Nice sale! I have been eyeballing the Victors for a while, so I picked up the Slayer. I would recommend the Ilya or firebrand to anyone looking for a hero mech. My stats are generally a little better with the FB and I like the high mounted ballistics (a lot less wasted shots plowing the fields with my ACs).

Looks like those locusts in my garage are going to continue to collect more dust until I get around to mastering them. I suppose I will be glad I have them if fuel prices go up.
