Well, I got back from my week out of town for work and wanted to try the game with the new UI. I try to launch the patcher and it says it can't even connect. Is this a known issue?

(2) submit a support ticket with DXDiag, Omicron log and traceroute attached, if you can.

can I run the repair tool if the patcher doesn't launch?

Should be possible. The repair tool will recognize a corrupt patcher as well and replace it with a working one. That is, if the patcher is the problem.
