It is completely and utterly setup for long ranged combat. There is no possible way to brawl effectively on it. After the spawn point changes, I have been having great success brawling at the H10 hill on Alpine. Gotta get there fast, but if you can, it can be an intense fight. If you're short range and try to take on long range mechs on their terms, you'll get destroyed.... but that's on any map.
