imo the only option is the Atlas. if its anything like the first couple of weeks of WoT everyone will rush to the high tier tanks using the fiercest machine and everything else will be fodder. I just looked at the receipt and it says catapult. jeez. why does it save your mech choice before you commit to buy. it doesnt even save it to cache on your browser. its locked into your frking account.

f that stuff, i wanted the mech and im paying 60 bucks of my hard earned money, im getting an assault, hopefully i can trade out some of the equipment for what i want to see on an atlas, something closer to the as7-k (yes i know theres no pulse, er or gauss weapons... yet)

I am still mulling it over. Atlas seems like an obvious choice since it is the most expensive mech available (more bang for your buck). The issue is that I am not a huge fan of Assault mechs. I usually like to go nimble scout or well-rounded medium in my mechwarrior games (when possible). I don't think I will go legendary though as I am more interested in the currency than having all of the starter mechs. I figure that I can use the currency to buy one of the other, possibly more prefferable, mechs that have been revealed (or have yet to be revealed). I also don't know if I can honestly play enough to level-up four mechs in three months. I have a job, girlfriend (that is interested in playing), band and family. Essentially this: http://theoatmeal.co...s/online_gaming (credit: the amazing Oatmeal) is how I sometimes feel about online gaming, and almost exactly how I get sidetracked (especially the microbrews...and the sex).

Suggestions welcome.

I'm tempted to go Cat but would need to see how good/bad the LRMs are.
Hunchie is a bit slow for my liking - seems to be little difference in speed between it and the Cat, dropping the LRMs and JJs and sticking in some SRMs or more/better lasers and extra armour might be a nice toe-to-toe choice when engaging light/med and possibly heavy adversaries.
