(Inspired by cSand's post, just less....harsh, lol)

You are allowed to keep just your base 4 Mechbays, and each one HAS to be a different weight class (Light, Medium, Heavy, Assault). All are of course fully unlocked and mastered versions.

What 4 are you filling your personal Leopard Class Dropship with? Which variant? Feel free to post preferred loadouts, too.

Me?
Light: FS9-E Firestarter
Medium: SHD-2D2 ShadowHawk
Heavy: CFT-IM Cataphract
Assault: VTR-9S Victor

Now you?

Light: I dunno, I don't use lights much. Either Raven 3L or maybe a Firestarter if/when I start grinding them.
Medium: Shad 2D2 for sure, runner up Griffin 3M.
Heavy: I don't really like any of my current heavies (just Thuds and Cats) although maybe Thuds because they're a lot tougher. 9SS or 9SE variant.
Assault: Victor 9S beyond any shadow of a doubt.

Light: FS9-E Firestarter, love it
Medium: X-5 Cicada, but my founders HBK-G is right behind it
Heavy: TDR-5S(P) T-Bolt, one of my favs from TT and I run a generalist build that laughs in the face of meta
Assault: AS7-D(F) Atlas, I love Big D it's my most successful mech. I don't play it much anymore since Atlases are a dime a dozen, but when I do I usually crush face.

Light: FS9-E Firestarter
Medium: HBK-4P Swayback
Heavy: CFT-IM (the Yiazmets)
Assault: STK-M/Heavy Metal

these are my 3.0 mechs. assault is a toss up between the misery and heavy metal. both are brawl monsters. any of these mechs are my go to guys if I get fed up and stop clowning around ;-)

Light: FS9-E
Medium: X-5 Cicada - love all the cicadas
Heavy: TDR-5S(P) - the thunderbolts have grown on me since they released. Fun mechs
Assault: AS7-D-DC - because you're no longer a mech. you're a mobile fortress.

Firestarter - Ember
The beloved newcomer: 4 Energy and 4 ballistic points are just wonderful

Centurion - Yen-Lo-Wang
Fastest AC/20 with a viable build. I just love it.

Catapult - K2
My very first Mech. Love on the first sight and there is no other Heavy which I would prefer over this and I have played most of them.

Stalker - Misery
Misery or Heavy Metal, it was close. Even if the Heavy Metal makes cool music if I kill an enemy, the Misery offers still more survivability and the ability to have an AC/20 is pretty neat. If the Heavy Metal could use 2 UAC/5, the HM would win but as for the moment i prefer the Misery.

Light: FS9-E Firestarter. It's a beast. I wish I didn't suck at Lights.
Medium: SHD-2D2.
Heavy: JM6-S (I'm not really sold on this answer - I'm very torn on heavies right now)
Assault: BLR-1G (Yeah, that's right. I said it. I know it's not the best beasty, but I love it anyways.)

If you can only have four, choosing on other than love is just nuts (hence the 3D missing from my list).

Ain't nothing wrong with BLR love. They sit just a tad behind my Victors, and I do lean a little toward the 1D, but drive any with a smile.

IDK man, the Firestarter just feels so good... it drive like a ShadowHawk mini-me, don't ya think?

Yup, and there were some painful cuts for me. YLW? The Protector? 2 of the best most fun mechs for me. And removing Jagermechs and Hunchbacks in total? (Heck, even my lil Locusts...... I love my MarioMechKarts.)

*Sigh* I still can't fully decide between my Ilya and my JM6-DD, TBH. If I owned a Firebrand it would probably win the heavy slot.
