if I have to fight with something else than the Tibmer Wolf, Dire Wolf or the Summoner.
I'll go with the Mad Dog anyday. I'm a Heavy mech pilot.

Alex has taken horrible designs and made them look decent before- unlike most of PGI, I have faith in his abilities. The Fire Moth wouldn't suffer under his artwork.

Not even Alex could make the Dasher look like anything other than a BattleMech with its arms put on the wrong way. EDIT: Man, those pictures made me remember how much I loved my Mad Dog in MW4. I really hope Alex chooses the sleeves over exposed barrels on that one.

Ok, i am the only one who actually likes the Firemoth ;)

Oh, and this is the original design of the Mad Dog and i totalyl prefere it.

P.s. What about the Gargoyle? I think with a bit of redesign it could be a very cool 'Mech. Alex, what are you waiting for??!

The problem with the Mad Dog, in my opinion, is that it doesn't really resemble a mad dog. It looks more like a sick puppy than something that is supposed to be able to get up in your face and shred you apart.

More often than not, it is ALWAYS more about the pilot than the mech.

Allways True. In MW4:Mercs i could consistantly take a Urbie(urbanmech) With CUAC2 and ERPPC and get twice the kills of any assault on my team. Even when mechs such as the solitare( who remember the Assaultlaser 2 heavy medium 2 ermedium 42 damage 147 runner w/armor what?) I still would then take a urbie with LBX-20, Heavy Large, and misc small fire.

Same goes all the way across the board, it is compleatly about how well you can pilot and situational awareness.

Not fast enough. I don't mean to offend. I just need speed more than firepower. You could even say that my speed is my firepower in a way.
I haven't seen any other player using tactics like mine. Not that my tactics are superior by any means. They are just.....very rare.

I need a speed of at least 125 Kph to do things the way i like it. Preferably +140 Kph if it doesn't have JJ's.
I tried doing it with 113 Kph. It just barelly works at that speed. 97 Kph would be much too low. No way i could use it the way i do now.

I would have to join the mainfiring line to avoid being hunted down by lights.

I want to make use of the Kit Fox but as long as i can't get more speed out of it i just plain can't buy a clan pack.

&

And for you: http://mwo.smurfy-ne...60c653d5c1bff86
Works very well I find. I use the speed to carefully sneak up behind the enemy, and then Gauss them in the back. Then, hide. It's plenty fast enough for what I've wanted it do. I don't see how the Uller will be too much different, considering the Uller will be able to take even more weapons than my Cicada probably has on it...

Cause who needs armour anyway? Its a suicide build, but it combines speed an decent firepower into an irresistible little package (for me at least).

This little beauty has yet to show up in this game, and trust me, if it partnered with the Spider, the Atlas, and a host of other Assault, will be running for the hills.

I also like that version of the Mad Dog. But... Well, I prefer the "bulky" look of the Mad Dog now. It look's like a pure military mech. And I like that.

More or less all the Clan Omnies look like true war machines, that is why i love them compared to IS 'Mechs ;)

True, but most of them style have a "alien" look's who wich is pretty nice. Is really different from what I personatly wait from "pure military" mech.

Just take a look at the "StormCrow", that mech is badass, same for the Adder, or the Dire Wolf, but they have "outside" feeling. Maybe it's the angled cockpit.

I prefer the Mad Dog because he is much more "rectangular" than most of the other mech.
Yes there is some IS mech who are also very rectangular, but who are "too much".
There's the list of the Mech I like because of there nice rectangular look:

Warhammer.
Avatar (tought I don't really like the non-symetrical stuff with the arm.)
Summoner.
Orion.
Urbanmech (that one is off-category, but fùck you! It's a Urbanmech! ;) )
Mad Dog.

Alex Iglesias + FireMoth = Fist all the Assaults into their "you-know-that-spot-where-it-so-brilliantly-hurts"

Other than that I would really love to see Alex´s take on the MadDog and the Hellbringer .

Heck, if that guy manage to make the Hellbringer actually looking good and not like a cosmonaut with gun's.
I would make the nyan dance for ten hours non stop in the top of my Mad Dog!

The "helmet" remind me of the one used by Cosmonot... The bulky shoulder make the famous "jet-pack" and the gun's the controler. (a bit like the sit of Clooney in GRAVITY.)
