I heard that a new chassis was coming in march, and russ said it would be an assualt. Just curious as to what people think it is. Would be cool if it was the shogun

Thug would hurt my soul, as would the Hatamoto-Chi but if I was a bettin man I would put money on the Mauler......Annihilator is a slim possibility as well but a real possibility (100 tons + metawench = more money for PGI).

I really hope it's the King Crab. A Clan Buster mech coming in right before the clans do... nice! (And I love me crab mechs... Crabs. King Crabs. Not too picky.)

Knowing my luck, because I want it in the game BADLY, it probably isn't the King Crab. (Just like the new light mech wasn't the Urbanmech, but was the Firestarter (which is still cool).)

Mauler would fit into Meta well (not being too OP) 4 Ballistics but only 2 in each side torso. No triple or quad Gauss or AC/20. Still could do quad LB10X or quad AC/5 with tons to spare...

All jumpjetless light assault mechs, in my opinion they are sorely needed in the meta considering the awesome's utter non-functionality.

King Crab would too, as the arm slots would help limit the number of ACs. And if they removed the upper actuator instead of the lower one, it would let the King Crab sweep side to side, but not up and down so well. (Give it a different flavor?)
