Upcoming Assault

I have made this statement before, I will make it again.
Release the King Crab and I will purchase every variant, including hero variants, with MC. No questions asked. I don't mind if you arm lock it to get around the crit-splitting issue. I just want to scuttle around in my favorite assault of all time. I'd kill to play the KGC-000, KGC-001, and the KGC-010.
Signed,
Josef

King Crab or Mauler/Devastator would by far be the most badass. Rooting for a KGC-001 "Clanbuster" Hero mech.

That being said the King Crab chassis could be implemented by barrowing the Clan Omnimech rule set for it's arms.
Quote
- If any of the following weapons are equipped in an OmniMech’s arm, any Lower Arm Actuator or Hand Actuator that was present in the base configuration is automatically removed:
- Any Gauss rifle.
- Any autocannon.
- Any PPC.
- Any Gauss rifle.
So basically have the King Crabs arms use this rule where the AC20 in each removed the hand and arm actuators. Yes you'll be forced to only aim forward but it's a decent trade off for a 100 ton mech wielding dual AC20's.

The King Crab/Devastator are highly unlikely for balance reasons. Both are way better than the Atlas and would make it completely obsolete. I'm fairly certain its not a 100 tonner.
Also we already have two 80 tonners and two 85 tonners so anything less than 90 tons is unlikely. Its almost certainly 90-95 tons whatever it is.

And the King Crab wouldn't be nearly as OP as people think. You think the Atlas' weapons are low? The King Crab bumps its autocannons on cars as it walks. Its low profile is great for hiding in cover and blowing the hell out of anything that comes near its hiding spot, but a peekaboo pop tart it is not. Plus, we don't have a ballistic assault yet, and I'm absolutely dying for one.

People will just fit the Mauler as a 90-ton King Crab though, so I don't see what the problem is?

You know what I really want...its 100 tons, timeline legal, has plenty of variants, and even brings along a cannon hero
